I ditched the whole backlog thing and only play what I feel like playing at the moment. Games are actually fun again and not just dull busywork.

Honestly i ended up just watching a "movie version" of tlou on youtube rather than playing it. I don't even feel like i missed out on anything by doing this.

you're putting in a lot of effort to self-validate yourself, because if you wanted to impress others, you'd just play the games you like and have a lot to say about them and their mechanics.

16 is kind of like 8 where you shouldn't play it first because it'll give you bad habits. Spamming seasonal release (basically like a minibomb that has different effects based on what season you use) completely BREAKS the game, and you won't gain the proper fundamentals if you play that game first.

Because my mother gets mad when I spend all day (30+ minutes) at my computer. I started staying up late so I could play after she goes to bed but she started staying up late too.
All she does is watch TV, browse Facebook on her laptop, or play shitty mobile games on her phone, but somehow playing games on my computer is a bad thing.

I'm just starting to get back into programming since I kinda got burned out after looking and not being able to find work for about a year.

I haven't played Touhou in a long-ass while though. Maybe I'll get into it again once I'm done with my Milan game.

DD is a grindy game by default with some bullshit RNG at times. You kinda have to be in the mood for it to enjoy it and even then it's not something that's enjoyable for extremely long sessions. Also, stress healers are a must.
