Not him but I've been thinking about this. I don't have a PS4 and I'm not about to buy one just for Persona 5. The only difference seems like some slightly better graphics but that doesn't bother me. And if I want to I can play the upcoming dance games on my Vita.

I know Ryuji is supposed to be a moronic hothead, but he just came off as annoying, whiny and retarded to me. He had some good development throughout the game, but I just couldn't stand him.

On a side note, Joker having no voice throughout the game really bothered me, particularly seeing as the game pretty much revolves around forming bonds and communicating.

Honestly it's more about Morgana feeling like he didn't contribute to the team, especially after futaba comes in and can navigate mementos far better than he can. Fighting with Ryuji just pushes him over the edge. I've been playing NG+ and they do a decent job foreshadowing it, especially now that I know what to look out for

It was my first Persona game, wasn't aware the others had silent protags as well. Either way, I still feel like having a silent protag really detracts from the game.
