Game is shit, don't even need to play it.
Call of Duty cannot exist without stealing the ideas of others. When Titanfall 1 came out Call of Duty had to steal the idea of increasing player mobility through the half assed exo jump system that they used for like 3 games after that until it got stale.
Now Call of duty saw how well Battlefield 1 did and wants to cash in on it's 'historically accurate' gimmick to make a quick buck from literal 12 year olds.
The sad thing is that Battlefield 1 basically put in zero effort to be realistic/include realistic weaponry. So now since Call of Duty is becoming the shitty version of an already shitty game it has black female german soldier with M1 garands.

I kinda liked mw3 (minus some horrible weapon balance). I was looking forward to a cod without all the flying around and shit. I put in a preorder for ww2 but then I remembered that my ps plus expires next month and I have zero motivation to renew it so I cancelled my preorder.

I started playing WaW again on PC recently, and I really want to hope it will be better, but the last few CODs had these horrible character skins in MP that just made the game look like something a 5yo drew. We made jokes about Mountain Dew and Doritos skins and maps but that's literally what it's turned into. If they could just keep the more subdued military look they had before... I mean just look at this shit.

That's actually not true, the game has to be localised for every country no matter what. Replacing a couple of textures during the localization process would not cost much more than not doing it.

obviously, else you'd know having 2 SKUs, of which one is heavily censored and doesn't even include any other language, means less profit than just having a single unit for a whole region.

that doesn't cover physical for console releases, even with digital you'd still need support 2 different versions = higher costs.

I think CoD is on it's last legs. It's been going downhill for years. Infinite Warfare actually did things right with an innovative campaign with fun space segments and space ship battles and had fun equipment, the zombies in spaceland thing was fun as fuck. Only the multiplayer was weak. This CoD looks like shit and is trying to compete with Battlefield, another shit game.

Forgot to add that Infinite Warfare is hated by the community. They literally have shit taste.

iw's campaign was pretty terrible. i only ever see people praise it for having spaceship missions. they aren't even good. it's just that thirsty ass cod fanboys drool over literally anything that isn't cookie cutter cod sp.

IW had the best campaign and Zombies in Spaceland is my favorite zombies map so far. I'm talking from a purely gameplay standpoint. Story is literally not even a concern for me. And I beat BO3 campaign on realistic and the story made no fucking sense and wasn't fun, it was too long and a slog. IW had nice scenery in addition to fun gameplay.
