Battle Brothers is exactly what you want

It's on steam

Not really an RPG is it?

pillars of eternity

he said good tho

Knights of the Old Republic II
Mask of the Betrayer

fuck off to rpg codex you piece of shit
This

Jesus Christ the shark has been jumped so much it no longer knows which way is up or down

But to answer your question, a Tales game is good for that kind of thing

Explain to me why you think Pillars of Eternity is a good game

Devil Survivor

are you by chance trying to imply this isnt the single greatest fucking thing to ever happen to GoT?

Miitopia. I'm not joking.

>fuck off to rpg codex you piece of shit
What are you talking about? I don't have to borrow opinions from elsewhere, I can form my own and I did upon playing this piece of shit, with its non-sensical unbalanced classes, exposition dump dialogues, boring as fuck random encounters, unmemorable companions, unsatisfying combat system and a completly uncaptivating story. It's Baldur's Gate 1 with shittier mechanics all the charm removed.

>tales games
>good party rpgs

Divinity Original Sin

Almost all old ones have party systems. Though if you want a new one, Legend of Grimrock has good graphics and is good for beginners. The earlier games are harder but far more rewarding. examples would be the Wizardry series, Might and Magic series and some others. Of course I have to tell you about Grimoire, but I think you already know about that since you posted on this board. Good luck and have fun.

It's great gameplay wise after 3.0 patch and white march. You can build most of the characaters like you want( int barbarian, ranged/close combat cipher, muscle wizzard etc.)
Almost every class is fun to play and unique to each other.
Many fun and op builds. Must play on potd tho.

you should play white march

haha yeah bro it was so epic
I had a raging broner from all the epic manliness

FUCK OFF

fuck off roastie, kelly c is going down. jon Targeryan is the rightful heir to the iron throne.

?? divinity is pretty god tier

GRRM is rolling in his grave

The party is usually like able and you can play with friends

it's not a real rpg

This is an ok graphic

>GRRM is rolling in his grave
Good, considering it's more than he deserves.

in what way
you role play and make choices and have stats

Wasteland 2

>shitty writing, terrible story
>role play
stop talking

LEGEND OF GRIMROCK 2

GET THE FUCK ON THAT SHIT RIGHT NOW OP

NO JOKE

GO.
GO.
GO.

Never have I loved the works of someone I hate so much

I'm not even talking i'm typing?
also not an argument

I would recomend dragon age inquisition but all the crpg fags in this thread would tell you that it's shit. The story is shit but the gameplay is better than any of these shitty old school choose you're own adventure game.

go back to plebbit kiddo

Ignore this faggot. Although dragon age origins is good you should play that

>This
Thanks, user.

Icewind Dale.
more like the stark has been jumped, lol.

MotB is a god-tier game

no

is sword cost legends anygood
its reviews look kinda meh

>blobbers

it's total fucking shit

The teleportation has never been more blatant than this season.

tides of numeria bad or.. blackguards bad?

What are some games with satisfying to use warhammers?

READ THE BOOKS AND STOP WATCHING THAT PIECE OF CRAP REEEEE

blackguards, nothing close to numanuma at this point

>wasting time reading shit books when you could read good ones

mount & blade

Fable 2 and 3, World of Warcraft

Not many

I get they are in a rush, but did he even say hello to Arya and Bran?

as for topic, does FE4 count? its sRPG but 'party' grouping is important for an sRPG.

Ultima 6 and 7
Drakkhen
Baldurs gate 1 & 2
Icewind dale 1 & 2
Neverwinter nights 2 + expansions
Planescape torment
Dragon age origins + expansions

That's all I can think of at the moment.
Never played weeb rpgs, so someone else could weigh in there.

Real warhammers? M&B

Overdesigned stuff?

All dark souls games

Dark and demons souls does have realistic ones too.
Also chivalry and exanima
In fact exanima is number one choice for caving peoples skulls in.

Does anyone think Pillars of Eternity will be good on ps4?
I'm debating waiting on it or just grabbing Divinity

Also DivOS2, when it is out.

How bad was Tides of Numaneria?

It's disappointing. The main campaign is alright, but everything else is lackluster for what it was supposed to be. Couldn't bring myself to try that new campaign they released some time ago.

>want a party-based rpg
>most of them are blobbers
I just want more icewind dale type shit.
Even better if it's turn-based

What are some good games with fast travel?

Currently playing Dragon Age: Origins, it's pretty good desu.
Are the expansions worth it?

Golden age of Western RPG development died, Dragon Age did a successful 3D transition, but Bioware fucked everything up after that. Neverwinter Nights to 3D they chose to develop an unoptimized piece of shit engine, effectively killing the genre as well. MMO's also made it the hottest thing, and no one in nu-game development is autistic nerd / mathematical programmed inclined to do these genres anymore.

The industry is a fucking shell, but you can at least thank the Japanese for custom party RPGs still existing, if only in Wizardry like form, which is ironic.

>dragonstone is just right next to king's landing
what the fuck. literally nothing between danny and cersei except some water. how the fuck are they basically just not fighting each other.

Dragon's Dogma

It's at the point in your Warband campaign where you realize that if you aren't shift clicking you're just wasting time

Might and Magic 6

>how the fuck are they basically just not fighting each other.

Dany doesn't want to burn the city down and turn all the people against her, Cersei doesn't want her army to be burnt to a crisp if she goes to Dany first.

Dany is planning on conquering everything around King's Landing to force Cersei to give up. Cersei is collecting gold to get the Iron Bank to support her and provide her with more troops and equipment to fight the dragons and Dany's army.

The Elder Scrolls V : Skyrim Virtual Reality.

you listed the number one choice for caving people's skulls in but it's not Exanima

That's not really an explanation when

A) cersei has blown up the most important people of westeros and the main religious building in the world.

B) Dany wrecked 1000 carts worth of food for the winter with her dragon.

Both killing thousands in the process and causing much more economic damage and possibly killing thousands more in the following famine, it's like saying that the USA shouldn't have dropped the bombs on japan, the war would be over by now and less people would/will die.

Fat fuck is never finishing the books, user. I just want it to be over

It's not a very good explanation but those are the reasons they give in the show.

Tyrion mentions that Dany could "go to King's Landing tomorrow and end the war" but it would turn the people against her (even though she burnt all the food like you said)

Jamie has basically told Cersei that they cannot win the war the "normal" way but Cersei seems to be planning some meme magic because there is a lot of emphasis on her getting the gold to pay back the iron bank and they have some sort of elite group of mercenaries.

>but it would turn the people against her

But that is straight up not true, I mentioned that episode of cersei because it's obvious the people do not care.

A) I don't see how this is a point? Cersei doesn't want her army to be burned because then she would be weaker. She blew up the sect and the people in it to maker her stronger. It's not about lifes

B) Weren't those carts mostly army provisions and gold? Even if they weren't, going into such details would slow the plot down. Also the reason she isn't attacking kings landing is because people would see her savage armies and dragons pillaging the capital. If you attack a caravan of Lanister groups in the middle of nowhere, no one's gonna remember that after the war, even if the wagons were full of supplies for the poor. All Dany would have to do is say "Hey remember when Cersei lied to you about me being a savage who rapes and pillages? Yeah the story of me destroying wagons full of food for you was a lie too."

They do care, they just live in fear of Cersei, Dany doesn't want the people to live in fear of her which is why she has been going on some weird moral crusade to free slaves.

That black woman who is Dany's adviser/translator says herself that she is there because she wants to be, not because she feels she is forced to.

So what do you want? More filler or original arcs created by the show writers that turn out to be garbage?

Then they would be glad dany frees them of cersei as soon as possible and also end the war immediately, she wouldn't even need to destroy the capital, just melt down the red keep or lay siege to the city and use the dragons to kill/fear the soldiers defending the walls, that would minimize civilian losses and end the siege quickly.

>B) Weren't those carts mostly army provisions and gold?

All the gold was delivered to king's landing already and those wagons were loaded with the grain/food stolen from the highgarden's farms, that food was destined to feed both the farmers and dany's army, cmon it's not hard to pay attention to a 50 min show jesus.

>bend the knee or die

It's a choice bro.

meant to also quote you

We'll that was my first pick back in the day.
I have like 500hours in chivalry.
But they just fucked it up with their "balance" patches, and the game feels wonky and broken now, so don't play it anymore.

youtube.com/watch?v=EIVPjr1d-lo

>people unironically support Daenery's

>mfw people still picking sides when the night king is on the way
choose life

>Then they would be glad dany frees them of cersei as soon as possible and also end the war immediately,
Except you're forgetting the other mad targaryan king that burned everyone, and that this lady is a foreign invader, and that she would have to burn a lot of the city in the invasion with THREE dragons, and that cersei plans to die fighting so most of the guards and soldiers would die, and the soldiers are people too with families.

I have something between 500 and 600 and I keep playing because it's wonky and broken, lol. Love the random element and the design of the characters as well as the missions. The gameplay is often unpredictable, but killing stuff feels very satisfying. The only thing op in my opinion is the instahit by the claymore, the rest is just fucked hitreg.

This

Maybe they'd be more willing to put aside the iron throne if you had more charisma than a corpse and didn't just mumble "Army of the dead comin'" and "there's no time"

Oh and she has an army of savages with her that people believe will rape and kill them. And she has an army of dickless leathermen. And she has tyrion the imp on her side.

I wish Jon was more of a cunt like the rest. I mean sure, his major weaknesses is being about as inspiring as a wet blanket and doing what he is told to do by foreign rulers, but he could try to be a bit more despicable.

Wasn't one of the major points of multiple previous seasons that Dany might be good at conquering shit but absolutely incompetent when it came to actually ruling and maintaining order?

>as inspiring as a wet blanket
Doesn't help that his face is frozen with the same expression of worry.

We all know that if she decided to leave Dannys side she'd throw a hissy fit and call her traitor like the mad queen she's becoming.

Yes, and you see Varys and Tyrion lament over her shitty decisions in the recent episode.

Robb was better, it's no surprise that his downfall was the result of marrying a foreigner lmao

Bastard Bonds

But we all know the show will end when she gets on the iron throne. It'll be seen as a good thing because we'll never see how badly her reign will play out.

How does Euron travel so fast?

Unfortunately, yes. Jon will learn he's Rhaegar's son, but he won't tell Dany, and he'll let her be queen, and everyone lives happily ever after.

She will die in season 8, Jon will end up ruling
