I know a lot of people didn't like Layers of Fear, but I loved it. The scene transitions were top notch and seamless, and is the only PT-like that I know that released and was good. So I'm excited for this.

Pretty much. Like the visuals, even if they might've overdone the whole glitch look in every corner, but still, good looking. Then characters start talking and take forever to even say anything interesting.
And it still has the same problem Layers of Fear had. Great potential, horrible execution cause it's not much more than walk forward and look at thing.

It's by the guys who made Layers of Fear, which is literally just a walking and collecting with basic puzzles "walking simulator." Knowing this, one shouldn't expect much from them. It's so mediocre they gave all Layers of Fear owners a 20% discount coupon.
