FLIPENDO!

FLIPENDO!

Was this shit any different between every version?

I remember loving this piece of shit game.

Every version as a completely different game. Same applies for CoS.

>PS2
WHAT

keep going...

What is the point in collecting games for what is the the dullest franchise in the history of franchises. Seriously each episode following the boy wizard and his pals from Hogwarts Academy as they fight assorted villains has been indistinguishable from the others. Aside from the gloomy imagery, the series’ only consistency has been its lack of excitement and ineffective use of special effects, all to make magic unmagical, to make action seem inert.

Perhaps the die was cast when Rowling vetoed the idea of Spielberg directing the series; she made sure the series would never be mistaken for a work of art that meant anything to anybody?just ridiculously profitable cross-promotion for her books. The Harry Potter series might be anti-Christian (or not), but it’s certainly the anti-James Bond series in its refusal of wonder, beauty and excitement. No one wants to face that fact. Now, thankfully, they no longer have to.

>a-at least the books were good though
"No!"
The writing is dreadful; the book was terrible. As I read, I noticed that every time a character went for a walk, the author wrote instead that the character "stretched his legs."

I began marking on the back of an envelope every time that phrase was repeated. I stopped only after I had marked the envelope several dozen times. I was incredulous. Rowling's mind is so governed by cliches and dead metaphors that she has no other style of writing. Later I read a lavish, loving review of Harry Potter by the same Stephen King. He wrote something to the effect of, "If these kids are reading Harry Potter at 11 or 12, then when they get older they will go on to read Stephen King." And he was quite right. He was not being ironic. When you read "Harry Potter" you are, in fact, trained to read Stephen King.

>Ayn Rand

I too wish I was 16 and started watching family Guy

CoS had 3 diffrent versions,
GBA Got an RPG.
PC got an action adventure.
PS2 / Xbox / GC got a different action adventure.

Goblet Of Fire was where things started to get similar.

Best version. Exactly like the GC version but you could freeroam outside the school and fly your broomstick

>no one ever mentions Briefing for a Descent Into Hell

For these creatures(humans) are for the most part malevolent and murderous by nature, able to tolerate others only insofar as they resemble themselves, capable of slaughtering each other because of a slight difference in skin colour or appearance. Also, they cannot tolerate those who do not think as they do. Although they know perfectly well, theoretically, that the surface of the inhabited globe is divided into thousands of areas each with it system of religious or scientific belief, and although they know that it is entirely by chance that any individual among them was born into this area or that area, this or that area of belief, this theoretical knowledge does not prevent them from hating foreigners in their own particular small area, and if not harming them, isolating them in every way possible.

"We Are Living" is a legit good book though.

I haven't read the "Anthem", but, in my personal opinion, both "Fountainhead" and "Atlas Shrugged" are propaganda and nothing more than propaganda, plain and simple.

>Ayn Rand
>Gatsby
>Count of Monte Cristo
>Dorian Gray and not any of the better stories
>No Slaughterhouse Five
Man, high school english was the best.
2/10 : Got me to reply.

>not recognising /lit/-Sup Forums crosspost memes
boo

This is a /lit/ copypasta isn't it

The Gameboy Color version is an excellent game. Likely because Chamber of Secrets is the best Potter movie.

Nice misprints.

It's Sorcerer's Stone.

This is the single worst fuckawful HP game.

That fucking awesome gbc rpg.

For all 3
> Definitive Tier
PS2
> Better looking but missing features
XBOX and GC
> it's my childhood/lots of secrets and charm tier
PC
>fun jrpg tier
GBC 1-2 and GBA 3
> PS2 version but handheld tier
GBA
> oh shit nigger what are you doing tier
PSX

I actually liked the PS1 versions of the first game
don't know about CoS though

Gameboy Color version was a 10/10

As kids we liked all of it user. I am judging by replaying the PC versions of my childhood and emulating the rest

The PS1 HP games weer fantastically charming.
I would have bought an entire series of them.

>tfw kind of want to like the Arry Porrer games and movies but don't want to give JK Rowling a single penny because she's a fucking shrill cunt
>can't really pirate anything because whenever I try to BitTorrent starts shitting itself not long after any downloads start

Works for me

I keep getting pop-ups telling me BitTorrent is having problems and to try again after closing all BitTorrent related programs. This shit all started at like the beginning of the year.

It's a mashup between that one contrarian meme film reviewer Armond White and some bitter oldfag book reviewer.

When I was in the Army, there was this autist in my unit (who I'm sure browses Sup Forums) who would spout memes and shout this phrase all the time.

Correct versions of the game.
Dumb stupid burgers who don't know what the word "philosopher" means makes me kek to no end every time.

Threadly reminder that this is an AWFUL game, but godtier Fapping Material.

Full of innuendo and trampyness.

>godtier Fapping Material

examples?

This.

Dumb lines from Luna and Hermionie etc.
"Oh.. you made a real mess there...I guess that was a little bit hard. Dont worry, clean yourself up, and we can have another go."

MY NIGGA. Underrated masterpiece.

Use qbitorrent nigger

Why are you using BitTorrent? It's shit, use qBittorrent instead.

Best rpg for Gameboy color

>shadman

I was the biggest HP dork in my school.
I remember loving the ps1 versions of CoS and SS, and when I finally got a ps2 I rented the PS2 versions of both games.
Seeing how they were both different, and liking the PS2 versions better, I put the ps1 discs back in and kept the PS2 versions.
Some poor kid rented those games and got a completely different experience.
Anyways, favorite game? PoA on PS2 was great and OotP was only good for the wizard duels

>shadman

it's not

>HP is popular, therefore, it is shit
kys

which ones did you faggots actually play as kids?

I had Sorcers Stone on the PS1 and CoS on the GBA

which ones should I play now?

>favorite game
Probably PS2 CoS
freeroaming around hogwarts and being able to fly freely on the roofs and shit was the comfiest thing ever
never played PS2 PoA, does it have freeroaming?

>shadman

lurk moar

It's pretty good. It's literally final fantasy with a harry potter coat of paint.

Yeah you can explore the castle like in the PC version, but it was all I played for a while after the Jak series ended. Shit was comfy.

Can you emulate it? I know CoS doesn't run on PCSX2

The first half is from Armond White's review of the last movie. I don't know where the second half is from.

It's 100% correct though. Harry Potter is hot garbage.

I'll bet you can. Worth a look on the site for a good version anyway because that's the one I always look back on fondly

>shadman

They don't correlate, but both are right.

...

>Hamlet being low-tier
You fuck right off, Hamlet was one of his best fucking plays.

The GC version of Chamber is the best Harry Potter videogame out of all of them IMO. You really got to experience and open roam of the grounds and castle and could even fly around outside up the towers and turrets. As a kid who was obessesed with Harry Potter I really couldn't get enough of it.

The PS2 version is all this, except you can get on and off the broomstick anywhere you like.

Much longer load times though,
