>stellar opening hours

Funny OP, Thats what i said to your mother last night

SAVAGE

it's not - you're probably expecting some meme fest epic moments game - it's a subtle cowboy simulator

Because you're boring.

Cause it appeals to western casuals who love exploring empty open world with fuck all for content.Seriously this game is overhype bullshit

It's a game about riding horses.

Stop bullying OP, it was a s-shit game! Its not that I like OP or anything like that I swear

>red reddit redditemption
fuck you op

Tbh the game lost its allure as soon as i found out that you cant fuck any of the prostitutes.

It won't be boring after flawless emulation on Pc :^)

Because you have a low sort of spawn of attention

>Try and play it
>The beginning is an absolute slogfest filled with forced tutorials

Everyone that thinks RDR was a bad game is a fucking faggot

/thread

John is loyal to his wife.

I love RDR, but I do think they could've done more for the Mexico portion of the map/game.

NEVER EVER EVER

So you're bored of sex or what?
Fucking normie

You know why.

Yeah, but it's still pretty lame.

I'm playing it too, and really trying to like it, because the atmosphere is top tier, but
>open world

also, most of the main missions are comedic shit. I wanted more gritty stuff.

Because SJWs made it.

Why is that an aspect that matters? What are you 12?

I really fucking liked it.

>that ending

The revenge was so satisfying after all that shit

It's fun in the same way Witcher 3 is: story and atmosphere which no PS4 exclusive seems to catch correctly is why their story no gameplay titles fucking suck.

Because the old west is one of the most boring setting possible

Because it's about cowboys. There's literally nothing more boring than cowboys.

because your hands upon a dead mans gun and

>not going to mexico and shotting sombreros while hearing their spanish
>not lassoing people while riding the horse
>not fucking hunting bears and cougars, even snakes by hearing them first
>not playing card or dice games

You can do such silly things in the game, but they only talk that the world is too big, empty and boring

I'm gonna make you muerto!

WERK

YA

"why is this game so boring"

Why are you asking me? How bout you explain why it's boring.

Revolver was better. Redemption's open world was boring as shit.

>hogtie prostitute
>carry her into hotel room
>shoot her and jack off
I had problems when I was 16

DAMN

NAG

>carry someone on the horse
>drop the person off a ravine
>2 persons riding horses notices that and run to tell the officers
>follow them
>headshot one of the guys
>kill one of the horses with gunshotting
>the other guy starts running on foot
>throw a knife into his shoulder/arm
>throw another knife into one of his legs
>throw another knife on the other leg
>can't walk and start moving like a snake on the ground
>throw another knife on his back
>dead

I don't have any problem officer

Dunno. I got bored of the rockstar formula a long time ago so that's probably it.

because muh realism. if you want a fun game based on westerns, play call of juarez: gunslinger. it's ubishit but it's arcadey instead of being a slog like rdr shootouts

>get into a barfight
>cops get involved
>end up massacring the whole town
Whoops

It was so bittersweet though.

I dont get why people think this is boring, I think its the most fun open world game ever made. I think its weird when people say its "empty", this game seems more substantially packed with content than any other open world. You can go into a town and have all these games, not to mention nightwatch jobs, bounty hunting jobs (loved these). Plus you have the ambient challenges like hunting, collecting plants and sharpshooting. The game also has a very impressive number of random encounters that make traveling always feel fresh.

Also, this is pretty much the only game where all the minigames are actually really fun. Loved Five Finger Fillet, loved the duels, loved the cardgames.

Also I think this game handles the "wanted" system better than any open world. It was fucking cool how you maintain a "bounty" and will be pursued by bounty hunters. it was a really neat twist on the old formula. Plus, getting into shootouts with the deputies actually felt fun and you actually have a chance to kill them all and lose the wanted level that way; you dont always have to just run away

>some gang lassoing someone in town
>shot the lasso, kill those guys and the hostage thanks me
>suddenly police brutality

Worse was getting some criminal tied up to the horse after killing 20 of some gang in some "mountain", get ambushed by the gang while getting back, kill those guys, suddenly fucking police trailing me because someone saw me shooting.

Worse but worse than this was being at Mexico, doing those rewards missions, while shooting the gang suddenly a random cougar appears and then i dead.

i actually think the opening segment is the worst. it gets boring doing all those missions for seth/irish and assaulting fort mercer. it drags. the storyline in mexico though, with the rebels and revolution, is great

I hated mexico because I didn't follow the path and the song that's supposed to play never did

I dropped it a few hours into mexico. Dunno what all the hype was about

I wasn't paying attention and rode off of a cliff and the song ended almost immediately after starting.

I think the music cuts if you get off your horse which is pretty fucking stupid.
