Most people consider ME1 the best. It's such a boring game I gave up on it after like 15 hours. Atleast Witcher 1 has good enough story to make up for shitty gameplay.

ME2> ME3> ME1
All the games are great, but ME1's combat was so broken. Story was arguably better then the other two, but ME3's own Combat and Story put it above one.
I liked two mostly because of how much it improved over one.... don't want to write an essay here

ME3 > ME2 > ME1

The faster you realize Mass Effect games were shit RPGs the faster you'll reach enlightenment. Gameplay simply got better as the series progressed, not to mention ME3 had a fun as fuck multiplayer mode that gave the game far more replayability than the titles before it.

I didn't find ME1 boring. It had such detailed worlds to explore. I prefer that massively to ME2's mission design.

ME1's combat was still based around RPG concepts, because they were making an RPG.

ME1 is too repetitive if you bother doing side quests. ME2 has more memorable moments. For me, it's
ME2>ME1>>>ME3

ME2 and ME3 have better soundtracks than ME1, especially ME3. "Muh Vigil" is not an argument.

I wish they would completely redo ME3, throwing the entire script away except for the party in Citadel DLC.

ME2 and ME3 have these setting too though, they're hidden in the launcher, not in the game.

The only good track in ME2 and 3 is from the ME1 soundtrack, the galactic map.

You just don't want to remember anything from 2 and 3. The fact that you'd disregard the Suicide Mission theme is enough to label you as an ME1 elitist.
