Kinda.
Pretty true desu
he's not wrong, modders should be paid for their work, some are talented as fuck, but the people who should be paying them are the games authors. Bethesda should be hiring the UESP team and people who made SKYSE and paying them for fixing their broken ass games.
Modders deserve to be paid for their art but on their own terms, like a nexus page patreon.
How the mighty have fallen.
>Sales are final
Except for all the refunds you get.
I think they should be paid but as the skin market has shown, mods/skins are only worth pennies. The ones that cost the most are only because they're rare. Paying for mods would never work or be profitable in any way with the current market.
When did the second image happened? Do steam really set up a new term in those years where if you don't accept it your library was long gone?
After early access, Greenlight, Steam Direct, paid mods, Artifact, etc, yeah pretty much. Valve cares way more about shekels than making good games now. Steam and F2P hat simulators ruined them. Most of the company's talent has left.
>buy console game
>can refund any time i want
>buy PeeSee game
>oops! you played for more than 2 hours! can't refund now goy!
kek, check up on the playstation refund policy kid
>digicuck shit
Gamestop can't tell how many hours you've played :^)
And that's why Gamestop is dying, my man.
suck my dick you dumb consolecuck nigger
LOL
It's infuriating that he says, "should be paid," instead of, "have the option to be paid." Unless they can think of better ways to keep Russians, Brazilians, and Chinese from sucking each other off in an ouroboros cycle of code theft, most people are better off letting the next generation of highschool/college kids spend all of the time into making their dream projects--without interference, conflict of interest, or deadlines--before they themselves become wageslaves.
back to Sup Forums with you.
What happened...?
in 2014 you still had hope
>2014
Did we really? In 2012 he changed "your" library of games to "our" library of games you rent as part of this service. In 2014, Valve did the retarded steam machines. In 2015 he moved forward with paid mods in the most haphazard fashion, and its effects still linger.
>Valve releases games every year or two for 13 years
>Dota 2 comes out
>Valve decides to persue VR and other shit instead of games
>After all these years we get a card game
What happened? I don't hate Dota, I hate the decisions Valve made because of Dota.
No. Goyim is the plural form of Goy.
>Valve releases games every year or two for 13 years
Sure, if you count revisions and source ports of old games as new
You realize the only complete game that Valve made between Half-Life and Portal was Half-Life 2 right?
Everything else was them buying the right to mods and selling them
think I can get hired by valve? I've done literally nothing for years, I'm sure they would be impressed
>2017
>What happened ?
He became a brony, it's that simple.
