Is there a canonical reason Roxas has two keyblades?

Yes, play 358/2 days

No.

Then stop asking questions there are already answers to.

make me

They started giving out Keyblades like candy, I doubt it matters at this point.

same reason sora can, he has two "souls" on his body

I will DDoS you and Dox you and hack your mom's laptop with my advance knowledge of the google chrome console

who cares? even if there is it's all bullshit. i don't understand people who play kh for anything but the gameplay

Fuck me... i laughed.

I'm pretty sure Sora is capable of wielding 5 keyblades now.

Why does Kairi and Axel have a keyblade?
If you just need to touch a keyblade to get one why doesn't Leon have one?

I think you just have to be worthy or some shit?

I dunno.

KH story is a fucking joke. Any "story" past KH1 should be disregarded.

One is Sora's the other is Ven's

I think Aqua accidentally did the inheritance ceremony on Kairi in BBS.
Axel was training with Yen Sid so he probably had a ceremony too.

I think there was but I forgot.

Because of that thing called, fanboys. That thing can change things in a series, even if doesn't make sense, sense will be made by that fanbase.
If you don't understand or accept it, then you are just a retarded, or so they say

Basically if your heart is strong enough, you can have one on your own, or you can inherit it from another user. Its a reflection of your heart at it's default state.

Roxas holds Oathkeeper and Oblivion has a physical manifestation of Sora's ties to Kairi and Riku respectively.
Two Becomes One, in turn, represents Sora's connection to Roxas forged after their fight in KH2, and these connections are the reason why Xion visually looks similar to Kairi to Roxas alone.

Kairi touched Aqua's Keyblade, Axel is training.
>why doesn't Leon have one?
I don't know.

>If you just need to touch a keyblade to get one why doesn't Leon have one?

Because he isn't popular.

Kairi grabbed Aqua's keyblade when she was a child, starting a Keyblade Inheritance ceremony, which was accidentally completely when heartless suddenly attacked them and Aqua fought them.

Axel was literally an asspull

Nothing in the whole series makes sense anymore desu. Just hope KH3 has good gameplay to compensate for the convoluted shit story.

Xigbar is already half-Xehanort

Roxas has two Keyblades because of Xion. While at first they shared what's basically Sora's or maybe what's Ven's, but as time went on while Roxas was asleep, Xion kinda developed her own or something. Keyblade logic is convoluted but that's basically what happened. When Roxas destroyed Xion, he took her keyblade with him through one method or another. The "develop" a keyblade thing holds water just because of Sora. He didn't have his own in KH1 and was technically using Riku's, but then got one back at the end of the game. Some would say this is because of Ven, but in CoM he didn't have his own heart inside of him, let alone Ven's, and he definitely wasn't using Riku's anymore, so at that point he had his own, at least.

This game's logic is dumb.

Sora can dual wield because of Ventus's heart hiding inside of him while he's in a coma. Xion is a clone made out of data that the Org made incase Roxas or Sora proved to be useless to their goals. That's literally all you had to say, not all that made up bullshit.

Alright fuckers, here's the lore bomb:

Riku has a keyblade because Terra did the inheritance ceremony on him.
Sora has two keyblades, because a) During the Destiny Islands incident, Riku's keyblade realized his heart was dark, and went to Sora, and b) Ventus's sleeping/damaged heart is inside Sora
Kairi has a keyblade because Aqua accidentaly did the inheritance ceremony on her
And Axel... well, he'll probably get an explanation in KH3.
So for Roxas, he has two Keyblades because a) he is Sora's nobody, and b) Sora's connection to Ventus. This is also why Roxas looks identical to Ventus.

>Famitsu Interview; Nomura: "The Keyblades the boy who knows Sora is holding are the Oathkeeper and Oblivion from the first game. The precious "Oathkeeper", which Sora received from Kairi. The jet-black Keyblade, symbolic of Riku.

So was the Keyblade that Riku was supposed to get from Terrence go to Sora, or was that one he was getting naturally. Also, if it is Terraces inheritance one, why did Riku get another?

I could be wrong as fuck so plz no bully
>Why does Kairi and Axel have a keyblade?
Aqua unknowingly gave Kairi the ability. Might have something to do with Kairi being a princess of heart. Axel has one because fuck you surprise twist that won't get explained until KH3.
>If you just need to touch a keyblade to get one why doesn't Leon have one
I think it's because Sora himself wasn't actually a keyblade wielder at the time. The Kingdom Key was meant for Riku, but Sora could use it because Ventus was inside him. Sora didn't actually get his own keyblade until it chose him over Riku.

>Decide to play all the games in the KH1.5+2.5 remaster because I had only played 1 and 2
>Scrape through 1's shitshow
>Start Chain of Memories
>Haven't touched the game in a month
Fuck CoM

2 is the best in the series, so keep that in mind

>people are still confused about KH's story when you can literally watch cutscene compilations of every single game on YouTube and have hundreds of wiki articles explaining practically every detail

KH2 was really enjoyable when it first came out, but after playing KH1 I'm starting to wonder if that's just nostalgia talking.

CoM is one of the worst games I've ever played. What the fuck were they thinking with that retarded card battle system, seriously.
So yeah, fuck it.

fpbp

The Keyblade that Sora gets was supposed to be Riku's, yes, but his heart was dark and prevented him from getting it. The other weapon Riku uses throughout KH1 is not a keyblade, just some weapon made by Maleficent. The keyblade he gets in KH2 is because his heart is no longer dark, but Sora can still use his keyblades because of Ventus.

It's not. KH2's gameplay still holds up to this day, fuck it's even better now with the Final Mix content and it being at 1080p60.
Just watch the cutscenes or read a wiki summary of CoM, then watch Days. CoM honestly just isn't worth playing through.

...

In BBS didn't Lea pick up the wooden training Keyblade that Terra gave to Ven at the start of his training?
Another accidental inheritance ceremony?

It's called Xion.

No KH2 is so much better (gameplay wise) than KH1. It still holds up, it's so fluid and fun. Especially when you fully level all your growth abilities.

Riku's keyblade went to Sora because Riku refused the call and it went to the next warm body, not because it sensed darkness or anything

Literally who fucking cares? It's fun to play but I just drown out most of the bonkers story.

So if it wasn't for Riku's dumbassery and Ventus being a little bitch, Sora would be no one?

Even though he's arguably the strongest character in the entire franchise?

And he's also not a keyblade master?

>Kingdom Hearts

dropped.

HEY HEY HEY

No, just two.

Ventus' and his own.

Roxas' second keyblade is xion's, which is just sora's

Leon confirmed to gain a keyblade

np

>tfw been fucking around with kh2/kh2FMs code for the past couple weeks to understand how it works and how to edit it

HEY HEY HEY!

Keyblades are "passed" down from user to user, but there's no guarantee that you'll get the ability, as the keyblade is picky about who it gives its power too and will do so whenever the fuck it feels like it.

Axel was a keyblade user in training that got nobody'd, Sora and the gang all got given their keyblades by the 3 main protags of BBS. The reason Riku was more susceptible to DARKNESS was because Terra was.

Leon never got given a keyblade and who knows if he'd be able to wield it. There used to be 1000s of Keyblade wielders, but it ended in a huge war, so Keyblade users have become few in the modern age.

If a person not worthy enough tries to wield a Keyblade, it returns to its owner instictively. Happened with Leon and Jack Sparrow

There's a speedrunner named like sonic something idk I don't remember but he does a lot of KH edit stuff, I would check him out if you haven't

Play GBA CoM, not Re:CoM

Kairi has it due to Aqua performing inheritance ceremony in BBS.
Riku has it because Terra performed it on him.
Sora got his because of Ventus' heart being in him and Roxas has it because he's Sora's Nobody.
Xion had hers because dude clone lmao, her being absorbed into Roxas is why he can use 2 and then Roxas being absorbed back into Sora is why Sora can use 2.

>key "blade"
Why does this autistic fucking retarded shit exist and why is Disney involved? I remember a weeb friend tried to make me play the first kingdom sharts a long time ago and I fucking hated it.

>getting all growth abilities to max level
>gliding to the end of the map in a split second like a mofo

KH1 had asinine writing and anyone who enjoys its plot is a nostalgia fag. KH2 and BBS really aren't any worse.

That pretty much sums it up. But, if Ventus hadn't gotten fucked up, I feel that he would've probably done the ceremony on Sora anyways.

U DON GET IT OK
SORA HAS A KEY BUT ITS A SWORD BUT IT CAN OPEN CHESTS AND HEARTS ITS AMAZINGLY DEEP
WOOWWW EVERYBODY POINT & LAUGH AT

>Why does this autistic fucking retarded shit exist
Ask Nomura
>and why is Disney involved?
For a quick summary:
Square and Nomura were fascinated by Super Mario 64 and wanted to make a game that rivaled it, but a Square exec brought up that the only character that would even have a chance at competing would be Mickey Mouse.
Then that same exec happened to be in an elevator with a Disney exec, because they worked in the same building at that time, and he brought up the idea. The rest is history.

>kingdom sharts
THAT'S NOT WHAT IT'S CALLED

It's a piece of wood

I have, and I've also asked a couple other KH2 autists for help with specific things. But I've mostly been working on unfucking the codes other people made years ago that are supposed to do what I want, but they missed like half the shit they were supposed to do and were organized in the most retarded way. And some of the codes flat out didn't work because the idiots used a completely wrong address unrelated to the thing they were trying to do.

It's also a Keyblade that represents the friendship between Terra and Ven. Which mirrors the friendship between Axel and Roxas.
In this series that more than enough.

>playing bbs
>having a good time. a little iffy at first
>get to any boss ever in the game
>they are only hittable 1/3 of the time and stunlocke and combo you to death, yet your attacks don't stunlock them and they get out of them easily, usually before the last hit of the combo so as you're still in your combo they just hit you and stunlock you to death.

Here's more dev lore
During planning, Disney wanted the main character to be Donald, but Square wanted Mickey. Nomura said "fuck the both of you, it should be an original character" so he sketched up an anthro lion kid holding a chainsaw.

Riku literally mastered the darkness and is primarily a darkness user without getting corrupted by it, Terra would be too if Eraqus and Aqua were massive cockmunching faggots giving him complexes, arbirtarily rejecting darkness for no reason other than CUZ ITS SCARY and thus driving Terra straight into Xehanort's manipulative clutches.
Eraqus and Aqua by proxy are literally the reason for EVERYTHING that went wrong in Kingdom Hearts.

>Xehanort roaming free to do whatever the fuck he wants and breaking Ventus' heart
Eraqus.

>Terra being called a failure, suffering complexes and getting manipulated by Xehanort
Eraqus and Aqua

>Terra-Xehanort being freed from the Realm of Darkness and allowed to wreck havoc and be responsible for everything awful in KH1, CoM and KH2
Aqua

Fuck Eraqus and fuck Aqua.

Absolutely what this guy said. I'll do a review of the games I haven't played yet, specifically DDD and BBS, so I can fully see their stories. I still expect the story to be hot garbage overall, but at least I won't be scratching my head at it.

A real shame BBS and DDD were so fucking boring to play. I should try the 2.8 version of DDD at least to see if it's any better, but I already tried the 2.5 BBS FM, and fuck me it was so dull. Couldn't even finish Aqua's section.

I'm really glad this furshit design was rejected by Disney.

>Xigbar is already half-Xehanort
So is Saix.

Yes, those are the weapons he wields, but them being manifestations of riku and kairi aren't why he CAN wield them

Roxas can wield two keyblades because Sora can wield two keyblades.

You think BBS would've had a better plot if they dropped the whole Ventus angle and replaced him with Mickey instead?

Mickey gives Sora the keyblade, which explains why they have similar default keyblades. I liked BBS' plot in general (inb4 that 3 hour video from that biased, autistic speedrunner), but the Ventus angle just over complicates the lore way too much.

It was a hunk of wood, Ven's not a master, and that was early on in his journey even, unlike Terra who did the ceremony when he was already as strong as Eraqus

Yen Sid gave him a keyblade along with training him

The BBS lore is fine.

The whole Nobody/Heartless/Artificial people line is batshit insane.

Yeah, people call Terra retarded, but he's honestly flying dark and has no idea what the fuck is going on.

People act like he went full Anakin, but he all he did was give Xehanort the benefit of the doubt when fed some convenient bullshit. Eraqus was dogmatic as fuck and to be quite frank, a shitty teacher. Also his bossfight was kinda frustrating, fuck him and fuck the final fight against Xehanort.

>a darkness user without getting corrupted by it
>what is KH1?
Darkness and its shit just caused Riku a whole lot of unneeded suffering from 1 up until 2, which he could have avoided if he stuck with light like sensible people do

user, KH2 literally proved that Darkness is perfectly usable, but much harder to maintain. However that's offset by the fact that it's also A LOT more powerful.
Riku also becoming the Master while Sora did not is further proof that there's nothing wrong with Darkness.

>He didn't have his own in KH1 and was technically using Riku's, but then got one back at the end of the game.
I'm assuming this was explained in Dream Drop Distance because there's no I don't recall any other game bringing up that plot point.

>The whole Nobody/Heartless/Artificial people line is batshit insane.

Yeah, but Sora having 2 souls and shit makes that even more complicated.

And yet Sora regularly kicks Riku's ass, and the reason Riku overcame Xehanort's shit unlike Sora was simply because he already had experience being fucked with, and tainted by darkness and Xehanort unlike Sora, who also had that whole multiple hearts thing in him messing things up further

So what lore impact does Kingdom Hearts V-Cast have?

FUCK MUSHROOM 8

FUCK MUSHROOM 8

FUCK MUSHROOM 8

JESUS FUCK HOW DO I DO THIS SHIT

>Why does Kairi and Axel have a keyblade?
You can simply train to use one after someone does the inheritance ceremony.
Either Yen Sid, or Mickey did it with Lea who wanted to storm in and steal the show wheb Sora got kidnapped.
Riku for some reason had Destiny's Embrace (I assume he or Ansem the Wise found Aqua's armor and Keyblade Xehanort had hidden in the Chamber of whateverthefuckhecalledit back in the Radiant Garden) and handed it to Kairi. I don't know why peope think Aqua did the ceremony accidentally when Kairi never even touched Aqua's Keyblade.
>If you just need to touch a keyblade to get one why doesn't Leon have one?
Because that's not how it works.

Sora took Riku's keyblade for good, you twit and Sora always had his heart in him in CoM because from the point he became a heartless up until the merger with Roxas, Sora was a walking talking heart

Literally none.
Why even ask.

Non-canon trash that Disney made on their own without Squeenix's involvement.
Was panned so fucking hard that Disney stopped getting involved with KH and just gave Nomura free reign.

>Giving a shit about KH canon at this point.

They're fun games, but let's stop pretending the plots make sense, let alone that they're logically planned.

Leave those mental gymnastics for high school fujoshits.

Actually look it up, Nomura said it's gonna tie in hardcore with KH3.

I used Master form because of how far it can fly during air combos. Use long keyblades like Fenrir and Sleeping Lion, go into berserk charge and that'll get you most of the way to 99 hits. You can probably figure out the rest from there yourself

>Sora got his because of Ventus' heart being in him and Roxas has it because he's Sora's Nobody.

Wrong. Roxas has a keyblade because he has Ventus' heart. Sora stole his keyblade from Riku accidentally.

I am Nomura and can confirm

>take off all combo+ abilites
>equip horizontal slash
>equip fenrir
>equip berserk charge
>take off all MP haste abilities/items
>cast curaga before starting encounter to drain all MP and enable berserk charge
>spam square for unending horizontal slash until mana regains

You're thinking of Kingdom Hearts X you fucking retard, the official mobile game by Squeenix, not the shitty old Java mobile game by Disney.

R E T A R D

No my dude he just said it in Famitsu's latest article that the final conflict with Super Mega Death-anot will be on Swordman Island in 190x72 resolution

THE LITTLE SHIT AWLAYS FUCKING FLIES AWAY LIKE 30 METER AROUND 60 HITS

WHAT THE FUCK AM I DOING WRONG
