Picked up this game and all dlc for $5 over the weekend.

what's the most OP class?
What do I need to know?

Why is this so fun?

>Why is this so fun?
because you're less than 10 hours in.

mage, best weapons, best skills,
great swords are viable, other big weapons aren't, also when you enter an area it's level locked, so go in too low and shops won't sell anything worth buying.

it's very repetitive, but can be fun, there's a major glitch that disables fast travel if you do a quest in a certain way, it involves throwing bodies into a pool of water

>great swords are viable
i dont like how slow they are. been using a longsword for the time (still a low level) but have been considering respec'ing to mage.
I'll keep that glitch in mind if I get to that quest, thanks for the heads up.

I'm the type of autist that completes everything in a given area before moving on, so I don't think being too low a level will be too much of a problem

You're not wrong

I can see it getting too repetitive. It's a nice break from my other games that have been burning me out. I see this as a game to play on and off when my mainstays seem stale. Hopefully that will keep things fresh.

>other big weapons aren't
the game isnt difficult enough for any weapon to be unviable, all the classes are OP.

>all the classes are OP
True, but finesse is still shit

>all the classes are OP.
Especially when you get to crafting.

I play on hard and deliberately gimp myself by only using unique gear so that I at least look badass while I whale on the same asshole for 10 minutes

Not sure about OP but the Mage/Warrior hybrid was fun as fuck. Felt like I was playing a Chinese cartoon or some shit.

You mean Japanese, and it's called anime

sounds fun and similar to my TES games characters. will keep in mind.

I found a dude that'll let me respec. is there any downside/ cost besides the gold? is there a limit on respecs per playthrough?

Broken easy shit game. Kill yourself.

Shut the fuck up, nerd.

No it's the opposite problem. You do all the stuff in one area before moving on and you'll be a towering OP god in the next two zones, at least.

No limits, the price increases each time, but hits a max.

>Using chakrams for the first time

but user what about those unfinished quests?

sweet. Good to know, thanks

>Realizing you're a cuck for black cocks and bad game design.

Mage, use chakrams, fucking GOOD

I did warrior/finesse and I kept missing with swords, great swords have more reach.

what the fuck is the point of a shield?

even as a pure heavy warrior, why the fuck would I ever block anything when i can just Darksouls-roll everything?

Are shields just free statbuffs?

>why is it so fun?
because the combat is the closest thing to a sequel fable 1 has gotten

You can counter/parry

it reminds me as though fable and Dragonage:O had a love child

Oh shit really? is that an unlocked skill?
We darksoul twink parry rolling now

pick a mage archetype, turn your dodge roll into a blink

>excited for this game
>it plays like WoW or hotkey combat whatever you call it

I was pretty disappointed. Also it was shit easy.

literally just finished this game, after 230 or so sidequests i'm just glad its over.

use CE to cheat in a bigger inventory

You can party right off the bat, you just need to time it right for when you bring up the shield

also this, i forget if its 4byte of float but you can save before buying a backpack and find the value pretty easily. mage is easily the best at least imo

Wasn't that the game partly funded by the state of Rhode Island or something?

Fucking amazing isn't it? I love having the reach to fuck with enemies.

>Use Feyblades
>Literally just dance around and cartwheel into the air while killing someone
I wish almost any other game would have crescent blades as a weapon choice, they are fun as fuck.

It was partly bankrupted by the state of Rhode Island yes.

>KoA
>Rhode Island

Jesus. That is still a clusterfuck situation even after all these years.

I was actually at a comic-con where some writers where asked about the lore not the actual fucked up economics bit and apparently the copy write to 'most' of it is still held by Rhode Island, but when it runs out a few of them wanted to at least make books in that setting.

This is false
Being a Might+Finesse fag is where it's at.

You either haven't played Amalur or you haven't played WoW. It's more like a mediocre action game, like the first God of War or Darksiders.

apparently you can get the game for free if you're a citizen of rhode island
