the fuck do i beat the moonlord without an arena or nurse cheese?
Terraria
Asphalt + chlorophyte bullets and some good wings to go over his head and avoid the death laser.
Your making it hard on yourself.
Make a large arena and use Gravity Potions + Movespeed to kite.
What's the best class and why is it ranged?
but then i might as well used a mod to give myself a SDMG. its just too easy, but not doing it is too hard :(
the best class is summoner and you know it
Why are there so many new threads, there's no new content in the new patch.
>doing nothing
ufo mount
Because people like the game
not really that useful. that death beam moves faster than it.
Server.
The point of it is to get the resources needed to beat him, cheesing or not. The beauty of Terraria is that while it feels like cheating to build things and lay out a strategy to beat bosses you still have to put in the work to "cheese" them.
the one he uses from his head eye? Fly over his head when he does it.
>rod of discord
>beetle armor
>ufo mount
enjoy taking 1 damage from anything short of the death ray, which you can teleport over.
now fuck off and stop posting this thread
bump
Whats that axe in the picture? I've never seen it but i want it.
Lead axe, I think
its lead i think. either that or some weird sprite from the mobile version because i found it in a google image search and the picture was titled "terraria mobile"
for fucks sake why does it look so different
You don't. 1.3 was poorly designed.
jpegs is why
what's better for WoF on expert, beenades or molotov cocktails?
Beenades with honeypack
beenades for fucks sake beenades.
gotcha, thanks
minecart railtrack in the sky across the entire map
you'll out speed everything he'll throw at you to heal and you can slow down to hit him more accurately
beenades man
that actually doesn't sound to bad. thanks user
so should i get the calamity mod?
it makes the boss fight pretty easy, but he can still kill you if you aren't careful.
mind the wyverns while you are building the rails, might be nice to get a few gravity potions/flying mount just in case they knock you off.
>want to play through terraria
>always lose motivation around entering hardmode because i despise building
i enjoy exploring, mining, and combat, but building is such a chore that getting npcs doesn't feel worth it
yeah. commie blocks can get a bit tedious. i think there are some 10x10 square of wood with some platforms or something that counts as like 50 housings exploits you can use.
use different materials, dick around with paint and mix shapes when making rooms instead of just rectangles and squares, it helps with exercising your creative side
Summoner is too "automatic", though. Maybe it should have some sort of Formation system (ie. Prioritize defense, ofense, crowd control, etc) to make the use of minions being more involved than just summoning them when you start the fight and dodging stuff and every once and again locking on (which was a pretty cool addition, mind you). As of now, it just feels too automatic.
Beenades work with the hivepack?
i-... i was joking
no idea.
>go full tank
>solar eruption
>summon dragon pet
>three heart statues
>heart lamp
>sit in a pool of honey
or
play summoner class and just summon the big dragon
I'm not trying to shit on you, mate. Summoner has cool stuff. It's really cool to see how you go from summoning slimes (wish the staff wasn't so rare, the slime is cute as fuck) and need to a Stardust Dragon that can get super long. You really feel the growth, but the problem is that it's not very involved, combat-wise, which is a shame.
And bees*, not needs. My bad.
