Well?
Is there a bad Kirby game?
literally no
squeak squad was kinda meh
I didn't like canvas curse.
Never a bad game mostly because their main line games stick to such a close formula.
All Kirby games are objectively bad because they don't punish you for being bad.
This is why Dark Souls is a good game
Well it matters where you're asking. I personally haven't found one, but many fans dislike at least one title. I always disregard review scores so that isn't an issue either, but you can use it to gauge how many people thought that a game was bad on sites that allow for user reviews, such as gamefaqs.
Better question.
Is there a truly great Kirby game?
baito
All of them
Super Star. Robobot is really great too.
> tfw dislike Yoshi games but like Kirby
Why is this?
64
Amazing mirror
Took all the small issues nightmare in deamland (an already good game) had and fixed them, making it a fucking amazing game
didn't have dedede though, so it loses some points
Unquestionably, Superstar. I also liked Crystal Shards a lot and thought it was pretty great.
kirby's adventure and super star easily
super star ultra
Not a fan of Dream Course, but that's really about it. I've played every Kirby game except Mass Attack, so some day I can give that one a rating as well.
So pretty much all of the important ones. My personal favorite is Dream Land 3 for that art style.
I mean
Kirby games are bad in a sense that theyre literally made for toddlers and usually arent challenging in the slightest. The last Kirby game I got was the Squeak Squad on the Ninten DS and I beat it in literally a day in under 5 hours.
Nope, not objectively.
That's not surprising seeing as it's the easiest one. Play Robobutt instead and get all the cubes and finish the True Arena. The main game is never supposed to be hard in Kirby games, getting 100% is when it gets difficult.
All kirby games are so easy that they end up boring as fuck. There's no worth in an action game that never challenges you.
>You have to play 90% of the game before it starts to show any value.
That sounds like a fun game to you?
Do you play games for fun or for some ephemeral gaming cred?
Fuck Triple D, Borb is all you need.
Remember when Robobot turned into Star Fox for the final boss? That was fantastic, and the OST was perfect
I'm bored out of my mind while playing them. That is not fun.
Sure does, since difficulty isn't the only thing that holds any value to me.
Robobot was my GOTY that year. Such a great game.
I like kirby, but I feel like the last handful have all been pretty samey and become a slight drag to play
GBA and DS were the last two platforms with good Kirby games
Everything since then have become even easier than they were before, are boring and feel like a chore to play
Air Ride
Kirby CDI
Because Yoshi fucking sucks
The only good Yoshi game is Yoshi's Island
Thank Iwata they didn't rape poor Kirby like that.
PR is amazing, and goes to show that you don't need difficulty to have a great game.
If you're into difficulty the True Arena is quite the challenge, though.
That's the charm of Kirby that all the games appeal to a large part of the fanbase. For example, I dislike 64 and adore Mirror, and I know there are plenty of people who feel like me.
I remember not being fond of squeak squad. I guess that's one of the few outliers of a consistently "ok" series.
I feel like everyone forgets about this one
Even if the motion controls worked properly, the levels are really bland and I think there's only one boss you fight multiple times
loved the pink cartridge though
