The only game I haven't enjoyed that I've bought recently is NiOh. And that's only because the alpha was pure kino and the full game is only pretty good.
I even enjoyed For Honor before people just started using bugs and shit.

you've definitely never played it. the most cutscene heavy parts of the game are the boring ass intro with roxas, given, too many cutscenes, and atlantica, which is 100% skippable. cutscenes are pretty rare throughout the rest of the game, barring the absolute end.

Since I finiahed uni and got a job, I barely finish games, I bought them and drop them after 2-3 hours, some games I've dropped:

Literally what are you even fucking smoking? You go through 1-2 rooms at a time, which are filled with stupid enemies that you can press-x-to-awesome and they're dead.
Afterwards you get a cutscene.
Then you go through 1-2 more rooms.
Then you get another cutscene.
What's even worse is all the cutscenes are filler for the majority of the game. I can forgive cutscene-heavy games if they're important, or have weight to them. I liked MGS4 and Xenosaga 2/3.

The game isn't complete trash. My biggest gripe with the game is that combat is fun, but you never get to fucking use it for more than a couple seconds at a time before another cutscene interrupts you.
But once you reach the end of the game and can go around just farming things to 100% the journal, it's pretty alright. But the main game is pretty garbage.

if you like the combat enough I'd recomend finding a copy of 2.5 for cheap and playing through on Critical, the combat lasts a lot longer and you get a decent challenge with the roxas fight

Here's my dark confession: I don't believe you

They're action RPGs that are fairly light in depth. They're silly and enjoyable, but the story is pretty bad. It goes from just plain silly in the first, to overly brooding and needlessly complex in the second, and it's fractured off into a billion spinoff games since. The collection gives you pretty much all the games you need to play to understand the story if you want to though. At $50 it's a pretty good price, I'd say wait for black friday, I have it on good authority it will be down to $35 USD.

I played through Metal Gear Solid eight times in the past month. I am finally starting to get sick of it and am now gonna move onto 2.

Kirby and Mega Man are the only ones I'm really interested in trying. I'm curious about others like Doom or Resident Evil because of all the fans and praise but the games themselves really don't appeal to me
