Will FP2 surpass Sonic Mania?

Mckids on the nes surpased sonic 4

Christian Whitehead worked on this one too.

Won't be as popular as Sonic Mania of course, but from what I played from the demo, it's gonna be a lot of fun.

this

Also, I on't think so but it's still groing to be a great game regardless.

I tried to play this game but the voice acting was fucking awful and the writing was way too deviantart even for me, and I've played every modern sanic and KH game.

Sonic Mania doesn't have obnoxious characters with the shittiest voice actors ever doing fucking retarded shit, so it plays on a whole different league.

>not skipping it
Spot the retard

What the fuck's this gay shit?

That won't stop it from existing in the first place.

It does have Deviant tier OCs i agree but its literally all good Sega Genesis games mushed in to one.
It has elements of Sparkster Ristar Sonic and Treasure games.

It was popular enough that they are making a sequel.
That has better production values.

Looks surprisingly good. The sequal looks so much like Sonic 3, I can't see SEGA not wanting to sue them.

You can realy sue people for games just kinda looking like one another.

Imagine how many lawsuits would exist today if this was the case.

Also the proportions of the characters in the sequel look more like mega man X than sonic.

At least in the good old U.S. of A. you can sue anyone for anything
that doesn't mean you're going to get very far with a stupid lawsuit but you can still theoretically do it

*You can't realy

Stupid auto correct.

Also while some cases do exist of companies suing for similar games its usually borderline ripoffs down to the mechanics and art design.
But this realy happens nowadays.
Imagine if Gears of war developer sued Massefect ot if bethesda sued borderlands.
Or if Epic Sued Id.

Pick related is a PS1 game that acualy did get sued by Nintendo.

>super fast running
>spin dash
>springs
>loops
>robotic enemies
And that's just what I can remember from that 2 minute video. If you put a Sonic sprite in the frame, it'd be hard to tell it wasn't a Sonic game.

>robotic enemies
thats a fucking stretch

Also Sega would gain nothing from the lawsuit.
Its an indie game.
All they would do is piss of fans and loose public image for attacking an indie dev regardless if they lost or won.
The game is not infringing on Sega's Copyright it only kinda looks like it this is not a Fan game that literally has the name of an existing IP like AM2R or Pokemon.

The only decent character is the snake dude

He programmed them an engine to use, but that's about it.

Not until they introduce cute shotas

i wanna fuck that blue thing, 3rd from the right bottom row
whats their name

Merga
Villain in the next game
Probably the sister or lover of the Magister's past

She doesn't have a spin dash.
Its a Rocket knight boost.
You can do it airborne and in 6 directions (All of them other than straight up or down.)

Play the actual demo for the game.

Also super fast running isnt a Sonic trademark many paltformers have it like modern Rayman even some Mario games.

The game has a cute bat in it.
