Xbone owner here, I like my console and play it daily.

I have. Last western game I bought was Doom. Felt like a game and played like a game. But my point is that one can't possibly call this the golden era of gaming with so much shit in the industry. Even if Japanese games are superior, western games aren't a small market. The golden age would be good games from both fronts. A good connection between consumer and publisher/developer etc
