2 is better than 1. Deal with it nerds.
I mean it has before
>Lost my Dead space copy years ago and now every copy in my region,even used, is expensive as fuck.
I loved this fucking game, i believe the only trophy i missed was finishing the game with the plasma cutter only
Better than Resident Evil
Zombies are not scary suck on it
I find the body horror in Dead Space creepier but RE is too cheesy about it.
i honestly wish dead space 3 never happened.
I will fight you in the street.
Besides the combat what does 2 do better then 1?
1 had better horror better atmosphere better locations. more open. better story and better bosses.
Why the fuck would Dead Space be expensive in whatever shithole you live in?
Out of all the things I experienced with 1 & 2, that nursery thing in 2 scarred me the most
3 was fine and does not deserve the shit it gets. 2 is overrated but good. 1 is the best.
Issac has an actual personality in 2?
>The Dead Space team will never make a The Thing game with no interference from EA.
Why does a single player game have so much dlc?
I wish there was one chapter where you worked side by side with a character fighting shit only to have them assimilated then kill them like in the movies and that webcomic.
completely agree
If combat and Isaac having a personality are the only improvements 2 had under its belt then it failed.
Dead Space 1 is better and the only ones saying 2 is better are just coping Sup Forums
Isn't it just cosmetics and weapons that can be ignored? I wish 2's multiplayer wasn't so tacked on and had more polish because it had potential to be great.
At least they covered Event Horizon nicely
Reminder for the two people on the planet who bought an Xbone. The trilogy is backwards compatible and free if you have the disc
>1 had better horror, better atmosphere
The school is more disturbing than anything in 1.
>better locations
Better how? I preferred the Cyberpunk city and Scientology cathedral to the samey Industrial locations from the original.
>more open
That's just smoke and mirrors, it's almost as linear as DS2, but disguises it better by making you go left at a junction, then backtracking and going right.
>better story
I don't care much about the narrative as opposed to the atmosphere, but it seemed about the same to me.
>better bosses
Maybe, but 2 had great set-pieces, like the opening, the train crash and the 2 and 3rd velociraptor fights.
>thinking the thing would ever work well as a faithful video game adaptation
I think it could if they really put in the effort for a good paronia atmosphere
>mfw I'm one of the two
How does two work with the disc switch on Xbone? Does it install both discs separate or something? I wish my friend would have never got me to get one when we were never going to play together but at least I get backwards compatibility since my 360 died. Only games I want backwards now are Deadly Premonition, Crackdown 1&2 even though 2 is meh, and Halo 3.
>2cucks come to ruin a perfectly good thread
what a suprise
They're both good games and everyone can agree 3 isn't worth the name.
DS = Alien
DS2 = Aliens
DS3 = Alien Resurrection
The third game is so pruned it's essentially an action movie with quick-time events. I wish it at least tried to be scary.
>everyone can agree 3 isn't worth the name
but i liked it user
DS=Alien
DS2=Alien 3
DS3=Aliens
because after the economy went to shit the people decided to squeeze whatever they could from any type of product, including used games that now cost 2 or 3 times the normal price, unless it is someshit like fifa 2009 or whatever other shiot sports game they have. i don't even have physical games this gen for my ps4.
EA FUND THE MOVIE AND LET JC MAKE IT! ALL WILL BE FORGIVEN!

Which Dead Space supplementary materials go first between on rail shooter, web comic and the first movie? Do they go concurrently or what? What about Ignition if that's any good for a puzzle game?

So, did you like how the series ended?
Im not sure about the rest here but yes I did. It was made better by Visceral's "FUCK YOU EA! NOW TRY AND MAKE A SEQUEL" DLC.
Are the microtransactions in Dead Space 3 still around?
Do you think there's someone at EA whole's sole purpose is to watch Dead Space 3, alone, making sure the microtransactions still work and report when someone's purchased them?
Do you think he just sits there, staring at his computer, knowing that no one should still be playing this game, much less buying microtransations from it? Do you think that he's surprised when some strange, mysterious shmuck winds up buying something?
how does he see out of the suit
cameras built in to give image inside to costume's operator? Like iron man.
Just finished replaying the original Dead Space for the 5th or 6th time, now I am playing Dead Space 2 again for the 4th of 5th time. I really appreciate all the small tweaks that went into the second game. It makes me wonder where everything went so wrong with DS3.
Where are you from?
>that crying baby in one of the first chapters of DS2
That shit really unnerved me. Vidya and media have conditioned people to not give a shit about adults, but the idea if a tiny baby alone in a room with all of that happening made me feel a bit sick. Then I reached the school...
If it wasn't for the combat and pacing, 3 could have been wonderful. All of the set pieces were perfect for horror. Drifting wreckage, abandoned snow base, pitch black ancient underground city, etc. If only EA had kept their fucking broader audience shit out of it...
I was always disappointed I was never able to get anyone to play through the third game with me. With all those two-player only sections, I feel like I was missing out on a huge chunk of the game.
I liked the DLC desu. Nice way to fuck over EA's chances of milking and it felt like a disaster/horror movie ending. Characters were great too.
