A lot of the Terrans in the original were designed to look like caricatures of inbred hicks - they weren't meant to be realistic-looking people at all. The redesigns aren't in keeping with the artistic intent of the original, and it loses some of its charm in the process IMO.

my absolute biggest complaint is that I cannot bind the camera controls to the keyboard.

I like to bind the camera to wasd. then bind hotkeys to all the keys around wasd and use my mouse purely for micro. it makes micro alot easier when I don't have to constantly tap the edge of the screen to move the camera as i'm fighting, and i've grown too accustomed to this control scheme. I have not even played online much because of this.
I did try to play a ranked game a few times the day it launched and after sitting in the queue for 5 min each time I gave up. I have not yet managed to play a ranked match, I don't know if it was bugged.

the only portrait that bothers me so far is the scv, the others look fine or better. but hearing the old csv voice coming out of an urban looking black guy just doesn't match up.

i'm not sure if any of the dialog has been changed, i'd be interested in knowing if anything in the story was changed to justify the asspull story in sc2.
