I only know of it through word of mouth. I guess everyone in that anime spent like months stuck inside a game that fries your brain. So I thought it was gonna revolve around that but then I find out that the original game ends, and then they launch another game, and he goes back in, and then there's a movie where that make ANOTHER game that gives you Alzheimer's and Kirito decides to play it anyway. It all sounds so gloriously stupid but as long as it gives a good time I'm game.

The first half of SAO S1 is alright. The second half is just his sister, but not sister, lusting for his cock as he flies around fairyland trying to save some chick who is stuck in the game. The second season is just bullshit fanservice and more nonsense. There's seriously an entire episode devoted to two characters discussing a strategy while holed up in a cave.... as the camera pans under one of the characters skirts every 30 seconds.

Not really. First half of S1 is okay, second half of S2 is just tainted by the non-stop dick lust of his cousin-sister, and her turmoil of having a crush on her brother-cousin. But then it's okay she falls in love with someone from an online game! Oops that person was her brother-cousin.

S2's first half is honestly not bad, it adresses the fact that the characters went through some extreme trauma in the first season, only to have Kirito dive headfirst into another mmo that's killing people. Second half is back to fairyland, but with norse shit. I kind of dropped it there. I have a high tolerence for shit, and once I start something I usually like to finish it, but I just couldn't user. I really wanted to like SAO, but it's just so bad.

Data Drain exists in finite quantities, only 9 of them exist, and if its Kirito vs Kite, then there's only 1 DD, and since Kite's character cannot be edited, hacked, or altered in any way, Kirito wouldn't be able to take it

But even without DD, its difficult to compare the two, because Kirito's "strength" is based on his reflexes and actual dexterity, whereas Kite's "strength" is based on his stats, which are all 99, which means in The World, Kite is as fast, strong, and resilient as anyone can possibly be, whereas Kirito's strength is never confirmed as "maxxed" the way Kite's is

TL;DR it could be more like Neo vs. Smith if Kirito can surpass the limits of the game (not sure if this is confirmed since I don't watch SAO), but if Kirito is bound by the maximum stats of his game, then at his best they'd be evenly matched

Of course, DD means that Kite would eventually win, but its no fun to use that. Besides, Kite doesn't have it after Quarantine, as his bracelet got passed on to Shugo, and then Azure Kite.
