Will we ever see him again, Sup Forums?

Will we ever see him again, Sup Forums?

No because no good 40k game will be ever made again.

I guess hope is the first step on the road to disappointment.

Depends where you look. Probably not in vidya, maybe in iehtts.

Pretty much this
We have to either settle for broken promises, extremely niche, completely missing the point or modded old 40k games

And I'm very sure primaris marines will not help this one bit, ESPECIALLY in a Space Marine sequel unless its somehow played off like toy story did it.

>primaris marines
?

They're like Space Marines but space mariner.

Space Marine Space Marines

>he doesn't know primaris marines
What, you don't know that Gulliman is alive and well too?

found it on wiki, ok
how many orks are needed to kill one new ultra hiper super space marine?

THQ is trying to come back to life, but they'd have to clear the Games Workshop hurdle to bring Titus back even though they claim the developers originally had a multi-game storyline in mind to develop a few.

Probably just one nob as per usual.

what the fuck

I don't know if that's a good thing, though. They came up with something stupidly heretical like Titus defecting from the smurfs and founding his own chapter or some shit.

No? It's an in universe way to justify true scale Marines without pissing off the last 30 years of collectors by going 'yeah your Marines are useless now and can't be played! Sorry! :^)'

toilet seat

It's quite the predicament that he belongs to the Ultramarine chapter, with the return of the primarch and all.
He should've been a Blood Raven.

The are also known as trashhumans

Nah, in the next game we'll play as a PRIMARIS™ Marine.

>there are people not playing as best bois

>Eternal Crusade
I think I puked in my mouth a little.

I miss him

...

Isn't that the space marine multiplayer ?

Give me an ETA on the next good 40k game STAT

user that's Space Marine

Oh shit, I thought it was that other garbage.

I fucking WISH the Legion of the Damned looked like that in EC

...

...

...

what mod?

>more fanfic chapter shit
No. Blood Ravens were a mistake.

...

Wasn't he the traitor

I unironically liked them.

Relic is dead so there will never be a good 40k game again

Unironically kill yourself.

Imperial Guard focused game never.

If it were not for the Blood Ravens all the dawn of war games would likely have been about the smurfs. It's a good thing that didn't happen, because a lot of people entered 40k through dawn of war.

It's called Quake 4.

No, that engineer guy was.

>it's a good thing a lot of people weren't introduced to an actual chapter and not somebody's bastard fanfic OC donut steels

Both wrong, it was Avitus

Go back to sleep Girlyman.

It depends on your actions in the campaign, but the techmarine is the canon traitor.

...

yeah ... about that

Can you say his name again?

Matt Ward

>vermintide above DoW III
>soulstorm above DoW III
The worst part is it's completely justified.

Anyone interested in a 50% off DoW3 Steam voucher? I'll trade it for a decent offer.

Fuck off

Magnus did nothing wrong.

Yeah that's why Martellus is still with Diomedes in Retribution right?

Magnus is the reason the Emperor didn't just cunt-punt Horus when he had his temper tantrum. The only Primarch who did more to ruin shit was Lorgar because apparently he was unable to recognize Kor Phaeron as a fucking Chaos cultist for over a century.

Avitus is the canon traitor, killed by Tarkus.

Martellus is the traitor only if your squads have the exact same amount of corruption each. He is a playable character in Retribution.

Manlet marines are old and busted now. He's never coming back.

Y-you too.

I just want to play a faceless space marine. One who wears a helmet. Maybe a silent one too.

>Deathwing is not even on the list
>mfw

>Magnus is the reason the Emperor didn't just cunt-punt Horus when he had his temper tantrum.
please explain

>Magnus ruins the psychic wards around the palace
>Emperor is too busy trying not to let every daemon in the warp into his basement to do anything about Horus

DoW 3 seems to be flopping hard, righfully so, so who knows, maybe GW will take away the licence from them?

I thought it was going to be implied that Titus joins the deathwatch, or becomes an inquisitor or some shit.

New canon says the Emperor never thought of the primarchs as sons, only tools for war.

n-no ;_;

It's not canon to me

>hey Roboute, ur a faget lmao

The Emperor was not a good guy, look at what he did to the Thunder Warriors after he conquered Terra. He was obviously going to do the same thing to the Primarchs

Imagine if the Emperor, oh I don't know, told his sons what he was doing and why using sorcery is a bad idea?

Big E is such a fucking heartless dumbass.
Even after Guilleman returns after nearly 8k years in stasis Emps reacts like he's found his missing favourite screwdriver rather than the son he thought to be dead.

When was it ever implied Emps was a good father anyways

Pretty sure the primarchs were meant to live for a long time. The thunder warriors were disposable tools that were an acceptable loss to save the rest of humanity, one of the surviving thunder warriors even understands this and doesn't hate the Emperor because of it.

Used to be terminators with the whirlwind launch system attached until 3rd edition where they went away. Making a comeback?

Now that I think about it, the latest Doom kinda played like that. Except it was faster than I imagine a Space Marine.

The Primarchs were made for war. Now, some of them could probably adapt to a life outside battle (Guilliman, Lorgar if Big E allowed religion).

But could you imagine Angron, Russ, Khan, Pertuabo, or Dorn living in the ideal post-crusade world?

What the fuckitty fuck

Are those the primaris equivalent of devastators or terminators?

Thanks Ward.

Not a good father but it's implied he views them as sons or at least they view him as a father

Who cares for new canon 40k is a setting

The 40k in your head is better

The Horus Heresy setting is way more interesting anyway

Pertuabo yes, he was shoehorned into being a siege specialist when he truly had a bunch of talents elsewhere. Angron no lol, the emperor was truly a shitty father and Angron was going to be a liability sooner or later.

As for Khan, Russ, Dorn, depends on the definition of an ideal post-crusade world. One where ever the threats on the edge of the galaxy were wiped out? They'd grow weary of inaction but the tyranids would show up.

To be fair, Rowboat IS a tool.

Chad Marines

I'm curious, has anyone ever played fire warrior? what's it like?

neither, its really wierd

they are moderately tanky but they are incredibly fast and accurate because they can sprint and fire with no penalty with tonnes of shots or loads of flamers, or they stand still and are allowed to fire twice the shots

>The 40k in your head is better

Big Bobby G is the only Primarch with his head on straight because he was the only one to get actual parents and a proper upbringing on a planet that wasn't busy disappearing up its own arsehole.

It's a resoundingly average 40k-flavoured shooter with some great narration by Tom Baker and an appropriately bombastic performance by Brian Blessed as an Imperial admiral.

yes, played it on PS2, it's rough around the edges but I love it

HH is the fucking cause of this new shit lore

Explain to me why tabletop community hates Ultramarines I only know 40K from vidya and reading the edgelord lore on wikias when I was a teenager. Titus was very likeable.

Because they get everything rulewise

They're generic as fuck and Titus is the opposite of pretty much all other Ultramarines in stories

>They're generic as fuck
so are the Cadians and Goffs yet no one shittalks them

WITH COMBAT KNIFE, BOLTGUN AND GRENADE, THE SPACE MARINE SHALL ASSAIL HIS FOE

>Explain to me why tabletop community hates Ultramarines

they generally hate on matt ward, who redid the lore on them to become the stupidest "my army is the best" lore

currently the main hate on them is gulliman, who lets everyone around him reroll failed hits and failed wounds, which turns even the shittest list into something fierce, plus he's incredibly hard to kill and is a monster in shooting and melee. all this for a really cheap amount of points

You should probably look at dark angels user, you lose the reroll to all failed wounds for only rerolls any wound rolls of 1, but you can make everything around you have 4+ invuln and -1 to hit, its retarded

No one shittalks Cadians because no one cares about IG, not to mention that everyone's favorite regiment is Krieg
>Orks
They are all the same

>everyone's favorite regiment is Krie
you just pulled it out of your ass also
>bunch of edgelord meatshield krauts

Catachans shit on them

>dark angels
Are we talking about 8th Edition?
I know DA blackwing were hot shit in 7th due to their jink being 2+

...

>nob
How many grots to a nob?

yeah in 7th ravenwing could easily get 2+ rerollable jinks, but now they just sit at the back with a load of rifleman dreads, assault cannon razorbacks and predators

put azreal as warlord in the middle of them, they reroll all misses and all get 4++ invuln from him

put a lieutenant next to azreal to let everything reroll wound rolls of 1

put a darkshroud next to them to make them all -1 to hit by the enemy

then you just buy a shit load of cheap units like mortar teams and put them up to 18" away from your parking lot of vehicles, so nothing can deepstrike near it
