wait a minute that card...

>game outright tells you the answer to a puzzle if you don't solve it fast enough
I felt like such a brainlet. Now I'll never know if I could have figured it out or not.

did it really? hmm I must have been faster than I thought

I actually solved this without any guides or help, took me 1 hour or so.

I ended up getting all achivs in 4 playthroughs

What game?

looked at it for 15 minutes and decided that i'd rather do the other route

when I go to input the answer after doing the mission the fucking clue was wrong on a placement, that would've been fun to spend time on

After this shit I quit Skyrim

>Expect the solution on the wall

you're supposed to just do the mission

i wanted to do it for the achiv so i saved it for my no powers run

>no one has posted it yet
How am I supposed to get my neurons firing?

>107 hours
doing what? i got 100% and i had like 38 hours.

if ur talking about the Dishonored 2 puzzle, a new one is generated every time you start the mission so we can't just post it

as long as it took me to kill the general dude and steal his answer sheet :^)

in the first playthrough i found and read everything. i wasnt trying to speedrun it

Thanks user, really got me thinking

Not long, you just need paper & pen to keep track of all the information you're given.

jesus i hate when games do this
>taking a second to look around the surroundings etc
>player character starts mumbling the solution to a puzzle in the room

Wasted some 20 minutes trying manually, but keeping track of the clues was a pain in the dick. Then I found out about logic grids and solved it in maybe 10

Puzzles fall into two categories:
Ones you can easily convert to a form where you can just do some maths or draw some tables and get the answer and awful shit isn't worth doing and ruins games.

Puzzles are shit and I fucking hate them.

Anyone know of a game that features this puzzle with a radio that you gotta find like 3 seperate frequencies to beat it? It's not resident evil. It's an adventure game where you start out in a Casino and you end up going to jail and breaking out of it, ending up in the middle of nowhere racing cars and shit. It's pretty cool but i've not been able to find it for years.
