Most people I knew used the Chopper Gunner. It was like the AC130 but without reload times and less complicated so you could just hold the trigger to win.
Harrier was fucking insane though, it was ridiculous how many kills that thing could get sometimes. Much better than the Attack Helicopter which seemed to need to buzz on someone for a solid few seconds before they'd finally go down.
