Mfw otherwise great game with unsatisfying final boss

>mfw otherwise great game with unsatisfying final boss
What's her name, Sup Forums?

Nier automatoe

castlevania 4 desu

too many to name

Sonic CD

Fable 2, or more like a lack thereof

>bugs... you needa lay on the carrots
Batman: Arkham asylum

bugs.. eat more carrots

New Vegas

Halo 3

This scene always gave me nightmares as a kid.

DaS1

parrybait Gwyn, lord of ez

Mirror's Edge: press X to kick the final boss out of his helicopter.

Bionic Commando 2009
Valkyrie Drive

you seemed to miss the point of the game

>he didn't do the legion ending

any looking glass studios game

Came here to post this.

i'm sure it had to do with his bad moveset

WH 40k Space Marine

>Needing a final boss
Grow up kiddo

This scene did, and a scene from Ren and Stimpy where they decide to sleep outdoors and they get drained by enormous mosquitoes and experimented on and shit. What the fuck.

Dracula was easy but that whole section was the best part of the game with the atmosphere.

I would instead say the Sorrow games. Aria's Chaos had more context, but both were just random shit thrown together and neither were much fun to play, like they didn't know what to have now that Dracula's out the picture.

I also don't like Dark Samus's final battle at the end of Prime 2, nor the Dark Samus/AU gauntlet in Prime 3.

who in their right mind would do the legion ending? Caesar is a cuck and his men are savage rapists

Breath of the Wild
Persona 5

Sonic Generations was this close to being a genuinely good Sonic game and then they blew it.

Sonic Mania
All the bosses actually

Space Marines

literally just a QTE

comeon now not all the bosses were bad, the final one was pretty lack luster I will agree

every shock game really.

system, 1, 2, infinite. I guess 1 was the best out of them but it was brainlessly easy

Transformers Devastation.
You've just come off the high of epic fights like the one with Shockwave and the 2v1 [or 11v1 technically] of Devastator and Menasor. The game even had shit like getting to be Grimlock and rip Blitzwing out the air by his wings with your jaw earlier on.
And then the last fight is just, its just megatron. I don't remember anything special about it other than it being in space like it was trying to rip off GL more than the game already had in places.

WfC ended with the Trypticon fight which wasn't a great boss but Trypticon was intimidating as fuck and the fact you previously fought him at the end of the penultimate level as you both fell into reentry in cybertron's atmosphere was insane. FoC had a fight with Prime and Megs where you could pick the side, the fight was full of quips between the two referencing their history, the fight itself was simple but thrilling, and the neat touch of the enemy having larger movesets on higher difficulties [I wish more games did this more actively].

They should've just cut the never-gonna-happen sequel teasing crap and thrown Nova Prime in as the real final boss, the fact he had wings alone would've allowed for some more interesting elements to the fight, especially in space.

Mass Effect 2

The final boss in all the Sonic games is the same though.

>System Shock 2
>San Andreas
>Half-Life 2
>Dark Souls 3
What were they thinking

botw
all it needed was a 3rd form and it would've been perfect. Calamity ganon wasn't bad if it was followed up with something.

nigger did you make it to the ending E

Sonic 1
Sonic CD
Sonic Mania
Sonic Generations
Sonic Colors

For the most part I agree with you, but the very lategame was too reliant on camping and lascannon sniping for my tastes.

Still sad we aren't getting a sequel.

"Gruesome, ain't it?"

Arkham Asylum

Persona 4, holy fuck what a ride that came to a thud of an ending.

Bloodborne

Both Gherman and the Moon Presence are total letdowns of a final boss, especially MP

Gherman has a cool ost track, looks cool, is sort of fun, but he's so easy compared to some of the other bosses

Once I beat the DLC I have no desire to actually finish the main game

Sly 4. The bosses were actually very good for a platformer until the last one which was just awful.

...

Pretty much every final boss in a Sonic game is shit.
Colors was alright in that it actually kept the same gameplay and using the Wisps against you was cool, but it was also pathetically easy.

I fucking hated Fable 2.

Gehrman was the hardest boss in the main game after gascoigne and logarius during my first playthrough

Spyro 1 and Crash 2

Gothic II

did you play the DLC?

I can't fathom any way those bosses are harder than ludwig, laurence, or orphan

t-t-t-time for a change of pace

This so much...

>Convoluted, didn't even understand what to fucking do unlike the Chaos and Biolizard battle in their respective games
>SHIT music, for being a series with amazing final battles and songs, this shit was the worst, could've been a song with Crush 40 and whoever did the vocals for Sonic CD games or something.
>Characters keep talking in the battle ALL THE TIME repeating THE SAME SHIT, they also kinda did this in Adventure 2 and Heroes but it worked there for some reason.

Cool game, but that shit was disappointing. Even more for an anniversary game.

WHAT THE FUCK WERE THEY THINKING??

Jaldabaoth. Fight itself wasn't even that bad but going from Shido to that was a letdown. Shooting him in the face was a cool finisher though

Nice job reading a guide, casual.

Darksiders 1-2

OP said great game

classic Looney Toons is truly timeless.

I liked Rage

wtf happened to buggy bun

>Gherman is unsatisfying

what am i reading, the music is fantastic, the environnement is awesome and the boss is actually hard and has a lot of move

MP isn't that good but it's a "secret boss" so it doesn't count

Sonic Mania

I like moon presence's design and cutscene quite a bit but the fight is really mediocre
