A strange thing happens with youtube where you like a few videos by someone and then fall into a routine of watching them and never step back to ask yourself if you still like it. Same thing happens with a lot of TV shows that you end up sticking with long after the initial spark of interest drew you in. They were fun for a little while but once you realise it's always the same and they have nothing else to offer, you realise it's trash and always has been.

this is exactly what happened. from digesting a huge playlist of videos and them going into the routine that is "acceptable" but mediocre content.
