>Gabe
Don't care
>Valve
Don't care
>Steam
I only use it because its the 'google' of pc game platforms. I'd probably just use w/e is popular and have no sentimental feelings towards steam.

Fuck him, fuck them. Nobody had the balls to make HL3 even if everyone know it would have sell well. Gabe can go to hell.

>even if everyone know it would have sell well.
No way in hell it would measure up to all the hype so even if there were sales at first everyone would bitch how underwhelming the game is compared to their headcanon fantasies made over the years of waiting.

What is going on today? Why all the Gabe and Steam hate? Did something happen to Half-Life?

Marc Laidlaw, the lead writer for Half Life that quit Valve a few years ago, wrote a post on his website that basically outlines the entire plot of Half Life 3 with names changed around, but it's still clear it's about Half Life 3.

Basically Half Life is dead.

I haven't defended any of them in years, and this just gives me even more reason not to.

>Gabe
He's a lazy, fat, lovable cunt. Still a cunt.
>Valve
Garbage studio. I respect what they were, but hate what they are.
>Steam
Great, excluding the 30% or so fee that Valve takes from all title sales.

Episode 3. Not Half Life 3.

>Episode 3. Not Half Life 3.

give it up

I'm saying that was the plot of Half Life 2: Episode 3. He clearly ends his story to built into Half Life 3.

I'm not saying either are coming out, ever.

Why is the final tidbit even an issue?

not to mention your entire posts screams entitled cunt crybaby

> names changed around

Is it to avoid lawsuits from valve over property of their game?

In what way? I'm pretty lax

I am one of those haters. Valve the game studio is dead, all that's left is Valve, the company that does a mediocre job of operating and maintaining Steam.

Why would you defend a corporation on the internet?

I don't like Gabe, Valve, or Steam and never have.
I refuse to pay for a digital "copy" of a game. I especially refuse to pay to digitally rent a game from Steam, which is exactly what happens when you pay for a game on Steam.
Games should only be sold physically with the entire games on the discs, with the ability to copy and paste to another disc or flash drive, and they shouldn't require some shitty "service" like Steam or GOG.
Digital only and games not being on the actual discs you buy them on is the exact reason games are sold unfinished, the reason DLC/microtransactions are a thing, and the reason early access (aka paying to test someone's game when devs used to have to pay to test their game) is a thing.
Steam is the new Blockbuster, but at least when you gave Blockbuster money they told you you were only renting the game.
Fuck Steam and any shitty service like it, and fuck anyone who actually gives them money. Steam and the people who support them are a cancer on PC gaming.

who knows

try answering the question you literal clown.

what is so damn bad about a company taking their due.

Do you think that if a company hosts a marketplace that they should take 0 cut for allowing the hosting and downloading of products off their servers?

you're pretty fucking dumb is what you are.

The point is 30% is too much you retard. Christ, you'd literally suck Gabes cock, wouldn't you?

>Being angry about Half-Life 3 at this point
You've known for years that it won't be made.

Can someone fill me in? All I'm reading from the sticky is that video games are dead and fucking yuri comics

They would never make it anyway

I stopped respecting Valve since they decided that being a game development company and actually making games for their said company is fucking lame.

what a laugh, neck yourself you literal poorfag.

it's about paid mods, not Half-Life 3.

and I don't even know.

...

>thinking it was a decision to not make it
literally everything we know about valve points to them just being too much of a mess internally to ever finish something interesting.

they had a space pirate game that was killed because gabe just said "no" at some point deep in development

Fuck no. I'm switching to W10 Store, and I'm going to buy the Xbox One X when it comes out

The lead writer for Half Life that quit a few years ago leaked the plot of Half-Life 2: Episode 3. It's basically just confirming that it won't get released.
