1) it's still COD, a game that has been ran into the ground by being released yearly for a decade. I look at the gameplay and it still looks exactly like cod4 to me. Cod has exhausted itself.

2) historical shooters shouldn't have a million attachments and red dot sights

3) kill streaks look like reskins of previous game kill streams. the "precision bomb" is just the predator missile from MW2, etc

No, the magazine has the spring which feeds the bullets into the chamber, while clip is used to manually insert the bullets into the magazine (though most modern (aka post 1950s) designs aren't inter-compatible with clip feed magazines outside of bolt action rifles).

Drawing back on the bolt opens the chamber, when you insert the new magazine, the first round is already in position to be chambered, you just have to close it to strip off and chamber that first round.

It's a proper reload.
