Has Ramza been confirmed for retail release? I swear to fuck if he's one of the "DLC characters" I'll be pissed as fuck.

He was announced before the PS4 version was announced so I'd be shocked if he wasn't in the base roster

Jecht for sure can still do it so I wouldn't be surprised if they make sure Golbez can too. Other than that I think Sephiroth is capable of doing it as well, but I'm not sure if others can without wallsplats.

The game is just having a hard time getting people together I think. Netcoding seems like it needs some work, but it is far from unplayable.

Same, practice is fun but the AI is dumbfuck retarded so it gets boring after a while being able to wail on them then summon.

On a side note, the summon animations in this game are exactly what FFXV summons should have been.

weird, its basically gundam versus now with the 3 party members and the shared lives meter.
it still keeps the bravery thing though so the gameplay isn't nearly as good.

No, L1 and R1 together target the closest enemy; L2 or R2 (or both if you really want) target the nearest crystal.

Summons are going to be broken in 2v2 and 1v1 I imagine as once someone is downed you can both just start spamming the summon charge

Kinda yeah. Matches were 1v1 before, plus there was a really annoying HP attack mechanic where the enemy would dodge endlessly that doesn't seem to be here anymore.

No Dissidia matches could take 10 minutes plus depending on the matchup. Double ExDeath could truly take twenty minutes or more.

3v3 is a little too hectic for me. I feel like I can't even move sometimes.

I think some triangle moves can be HP moves too, but are locked behind cooldowns.

Can you still combo brave attacks, all my attacks seems clunky.
For example all of Onion knights brave attacks had 3 parts to them.

She has a different VA in the beta

Some characters have the equivalent though. Both Zidane and Terra go into Trance and it just has a really long cooldown/you have to build up a meter for it. It augments them so it basically functions the same. I want to say Kefka too has this, but I'm not sure.

And FOR SURE Gabranth will still have his system. I would be so disappointed if they remove that. He was so fun to use.

they took away Vaan's plethora of weapons (as a reference to the license board) and limited him to just the mythril sword, so who knows, they might ruin the fuck out of Gabranth.

Though it's obvious they took away Vaan's fighting style so they could give it to Noctis.

Tidus has always been cool. Try replaying the game. He's actually a really reasonable guy.

Vaan sucks. They should have just removed him to begin with. Or better yet, replace him with Ashe if the goal was to include the protagonist of FFXII

I can't remember the names but the maps for both Order and Chaos were fucking rad. FF7's grind rails were neat too. Actually all the maps were pretty awesome.
Now I need to go replay Duodecim.

Prishe made Tifa look like a busted slut.

It's not about it being esports. The original two games were 90% matchup based. Compared to other fighters, Dissidia had so many near unwinnnable matchups. Characters like Ultimecia could completely destroy you with absolutely no way to deal with her. The 3v3 and 2v2 help alleviate that issue.
