So what did Sup Forums think of Uncharted The Lost Legacy?
So what did Sup Forums think of Uncharted The Lost Legacy?
WE
nope
I don't remember Chloe looking like such a poo in the previous games
they didnt play it but will call it shit as if they did and know what they're talking about
YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAS
That's usually how it goes on this site. I beat it and loved it, I'm on my second playthrough now. It seems to be paced way better than Uncharted 4 without any huge gaps between the encounters, and the story was surprisingly pretty good without Drake
QUEEF
Is it ok to start with Uncharted 2 or is it really essential to start from the first one? I've heard the first one hasn't aged all that well.
Nigger lover game
SLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY PHUCK IT UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 QUEEEN
2 is better in every single possible way. 1 is fairly mediocre. if you happen to have the remaster on PS4, I'd say just play through all of em, as 1 is also the shortest. but if you dont care that much, just play 2.
Start with 2 and then jump to 4. Thank me later.
>Tfw Uncharted is one of my favorite game series
>Sup Forums hates it
I never understood why.
>White privelege
>Was up wit da?
In all seriousness though, the actual game itself was fun.
it has cutscenes, thats why
get the fuck off my board.
But what game doesn't these days?
I loved the first game because of the sheer adventure aspect of it. Drake, Sully, Eddy, the scenery, the tonal shift into a horror game during the bunk chapter. It was great at the time, when "cinematic" style games were just starting out.
1 is a good way to get started, it's the weakest by a notable margin but it's a good primer on the characters and does at least have a few neat areas. Play it on casual and steamroll it for the banter and characters.
2 is great, 3 is pretty good with some notable flaws, and 4 is the best. 4 is the first game in the series where the gameplay itself is worth playing the game for instead of coasting on its characters and writing with generic, light gameplay elements. 4's level design is fantastic, most areas are really large with a ton of options and paths, the gunplay is tight and satisfying, and the story is actually great and really well written as opposed to just really great banter and dialogue. People bitching about Nadine are fucking retards.
4 > 2 > 3 > 1
Lost Legacy is sitting on my shelf but I haven't played it yet.
>not wanting to spend a half hour doing jack shit after the best part of the game
The Caravan Chase unironically makes the game worth it though.
exactly
fair enough I suppose but it really just isnt that fun. the variety, spectacle, and mechanics are all sorely lacking
It's a love hate series for me. I love the first 2 games. The 3rd game felt like it missed the mark. 4 was too much drama in the story, plus it was when Druckmann really started to buy into feminism and we got Nadine. I don't really feel like sitting through a game with even more Nadine, so I'm not interested in LL.
>using actual tumblr art in your credits
It was fun as fuck. I would give it a clean 9. score I feel like I should've paid $60 for this game, I got 10+ hours out of it compared to Uncharted 4's 15 hours. One of the extremely rare times where a game is more than worth its asking price.
Does it have supernatural enemies like the true uncharted games? Uncharted 4 was just the last of us lite edition.
out of all things you could bitch about, why that/
I'm I only played them for the first time earlier this year, I think if I had played U1 at release it would have been a whole lot better. Today it has aged poorly and feels like a rather rough demo for what the series would become. Sup Forums bitches about "muh cinematic experience," but the games were never trying to be more than light adventure romps in the vein of Indiana Jones. They never marketed themselves as deep or complex, and I never expected them to be. They're really fun spectacles with some great and memorable characters and set pieces.
1 had the least of that, or at least the least refined versions. Every other game built on the good parts of 1 and for the most part cut out the bad. 1 was probably a lot better in 2007 than it is in 2017, because it's just rather clunky, a bit dull, and very, very basic. However it does have that delightful adventure feel and some memorable moments. It just doesn't compare to the others because of the amount of detail and work that went into the sequels.
I give it a "haven't played it/10" and I don't plan on it. Uncharted games just aren't my thing. I had fun with 2 but after that I just didn't enjoy playing them.
You have shit taste.
3>2>4>1 This is the correct order.
pretty much. I agree with your ranking. 4's general gameplay and story conclusion is simply too strong, and it has some of the best character interactions in the series. elena after the E3 chase? Elena in the pirate's dining hall? that shit is top tier.
lefties killed vidya
It felt perfect. U4 was just tooooo long imo. And it had too much of annoying platforming sections. LL is just balanced and sjw crap wasnt that annoying after all.
Worth platinuming also
is it just me or is the aiming in these games fucked? specfically the first 3 games
The Elephant part was pretty kino
>3 as best
3 had severe pacing issues, as well as the story structure fucking up due to the cut content. The villain was weak because of the cut content and the ending was unsatisfying overall because of it too. It had some huge highlights like the caravan chase, but the ship graveyard and the yacht were terrible sections that felt like filler and completely derailed the thrust of the narrative. 4 has the best gameplay, level design, character interactions, and ending.
God, I just wish I could shoot Nadine.
This. Replaying it on Crush currently
Pairing Chloe with Nadine is like pairing Eva Green with Kristen Stewart. You'd get more chemistry from pouring water into an empty bowl.
The straight man - funny man duo is not the same as the the joyless buzzkill - funny man duo.
> tfw bitch is meleeing and tanking mobs
> you shoot rpg and throw nades in that pile of bodies
She's good bait, really
It was around this part when I literally said to myself ''man I wish there was more animals in this game, that would solidify this experience'' then the elephant part came up.
These games need more animal interactivity though for sure, the world would be 100 times more serene with more wildlife running around
I liked it, don't give a shit what Sup Forums says
if you arent a poo in the loo poorfag get the ps4 collection and play them all in order. they remade everything so you dont have to deal with the early ps3 jankiness
The Good
>gorgoeus
>fun as fuck gameplay
>fantastical elements back from U2 and U3
>climbing isn't overused
>India is real fuckin neato
>other cool shit that would be spoilers
The Bad
>Chloe is ruined
>Nadine is still shit
>villian is Trump caricature
>GURL POWA
>WE WUZ
>script is seriously serious and not fun
>ending is terrible
>U2 train scene rip off
>entirely made by white male feminists
8/10 Naugty Dog has an insane amount of talent I just wish they weren't all ultra feminists.
I was pissed their wasn't any supernatural elements in 4. The setup was fucking perfect for skeleton pirates
>Sony exclusive
>Wonders why NintendoGAF doesn't like it
If it is a Sony exclusive, expect a ton of irrational hate.
This.
can we please stop this meme? nobody gave a rats ass about supernatual shit in these games until they stopped putting it in
u spooked bro?
Pee cucks being mad about exclusives
Nuttin' new here
>wanting something that was in 1,2, and 3 but suddenly removed from 4 is a meme
It was out of place in all three games.
That's the actual promo image released by Naughty Dog for the game, what the fuck are you talking about?
>4
>less filler than 3
>literally a third of that game is nate doing bullshit like looking around his house.
I see you're more of a story fag than someone who plays games for fun.
> being that dumb
>TFW Sup Forums can come up with a better idea for DLC
I thought they fit. They added to the Indiana Jones-esque feel the games had.
I won't miss Nate. He was generic Chad and haHAA guy from the start.
ND need to make some new stuff with old days Sully. He's more interesting as mc
>Introduces Female character
>Libshits go apeshit for some character
>other fem-Nazis complain about bullshit.
>Anita Sarkeesian is a stupid cunt who tried to justify trannies.
user my favorite game in recent memory is Hotline Miami. Those sections in 4 weren't filler from a narrative standpoint unlike the filler in 3. It was actually rather enjoyable to see Nate in his daily life instead of out on adventure because it was a nice contrast and set up some very strong character interactions, development, and themes. The filler in 3 was filler because it served no narrative purpose, was pointless, bland, poorly designed and cobbled together to pad out as much content as possible after the game got a last minute rewrite to accommodate a truncated development cycle. 4 is a far more cohesive game than 3, and its dramatic highs are quite a lot higher than 2, on top of having far better gameplay.
>OP uses fanart
>OP is a fag.
So Sup Forumsirgins stole my idea basically
Based
>Uncharted sucks dick.
>Crash Bandicoot 4ever
>Praise Kek
His voice might be a little too old and raspy to play a younger Sully now
naughtydog.com
You are beyond fucking retarded, this is the image that loads up when you start the game. You are the second dumbass in this thread to think that's fan art
There was a time when Naughty Dog would've done this. But now they've "matured".
gamespot.com
>Faggot stay in your lane
This. The first 3 were fun due to supernatural stuff. 4 was garbo.
You this guy?
boards.fireden.net
I remember when I first encountered those Spanish zombies. It was like a breath of fresh air and actually very true to its inspiration Indiana Jones mythical side.
After that I was excited at what crazy shit they'll throw at us next....then uncharted 4 happened.
>tfw every naughty dog game will be a last of us clone.
The next game after part 2 is a sci fi game called Savage Starlight
I thought watching some pre-release material spoiled me on the the big environmental surprises, I was wrong, oh so wrong. I loved the set pieces, the surprise stuff and the environments, breath taking environments.
