good. EU trash

Dark Forces

Katarn's ship (as in the moldy crow, not just the HWK-290 in general), is canon and he is likely as well, albeit with definite story changes or outright omissions.

All we gotta do is wait for someone to reboot the Dark Forces series.

>not wanting a jedi Han

He was a lot more complex than that once you get past the surface level. For the longest time, he was one of the very, very few Alliance characters that began their career in the empire and knew how they operated and it's culture. Kyle's loyalty to the rebellion came from a more personal source than most, since until the murder of his father, technically, his only exposure to the empire was from a perspective most of the galaxy has of them; keepers of order and peace. His disillusionment came specifically because he witnessed "rebel troops" using stormtrooper tactics in footage the operation that killed his father.

>Implying I like Rey
Funny joke bro.
I did like the games, I was just memeing a bit. It's just so annoying how people whine about him 24/17 when he's kind of 2D.

He has the best star wars games though

I view star wars as having two separate canons: pre-Disney and post-Disney. Pre-Disney is my favorite because of characters like Katarn and stories like the battles in Rogue Squadron. Good novels, too.

ToR isn't canon as well, so that works out.

Does canon really matter if the game plays well and the story is well done?

Quality in the Jedi Knight games decreased substantially over time though. I can't think of another series that just kept getting worse with each entry.

>Rogue Squadron.
Ahh yeah I loved those books. The first four anyway.
I basically tossed the Expanded Universe out the window after getting about halfway through the Yuuzhan Vong books. My canon ends just before they arrive.

I had a bit of a perverse enjoyment watching the EU get wrecked by the Vong, and I enjoyed the callbacks to the OC characters each of the writers would reference. I stopped reading it at the point where the tables were about to turn though.
