I've played Misery on CoP but SoC just has the best atmosphere, it's a really enchanting game.

No it's literally just making them inaccurate. I was so tired of "undead" assholes headshitting me from 200m, and this mod works great.

PS. All these are from moddb, with the exception of gulash which I got from the /vg/ stalkan wiki. Gulash is a must-have imo, as it adds a fuckton of weapons and items.

Its reddit tier but I like AA. Can get crashy tho

that's just one of the many reasons SoC is still the best STALKER game to date.

But seriously, juggling so many things at once while also shooting yourself in the foot is just frustrating. I like the game as it is, and while some of the things Misery changes/adds are nice it has just too much going on.

I'll probably be downloading that, as well as some of the others then, thanks for the list. Although having to walk everywhere is half the fun in CoC, so I'll be avoiding the fast travel.

I agree with walking, but Call of Chernobyl stitches together every single map in the trilogy, so the world is colossal. Walking gets.....eh after a bit.

If you seriously find Misery too hard or frustrating, you have NOT played enough of STALKER. Simple as that.

Get the 'complete' mods every time. They are perfectly balanced and make stalking easy.

I agree that it can get a little boring walking all over all the maps from all the games (plus the stuff they added back in) but you'd miss so much not doing so.

Alright well I like how Oblivion Lost Mod Pack 2012 gave the guns their proper names and added a good amount of weapons. I also liked the fact that it had dwarves added in which vanilla SoC never had, makes for a sick boss fight at the end of X18.

Is this still up to date? Last time I played STALKER, I used the newly released Misery 2.0 mod, complete with totally fucked carry weight.

I enjoyed Misery 1, and have really only dabbled in mods. I'm looking for a graphically intense, immersive mod that adds a lot of cool new features to STALKER, maybe even a new storyline/world to play in. Recommendations?
