go away thomas
CS trainlets are too short to excite me
i fuckin love trains
but you can make spagetti
i have train tracks from 3 sides coming to my city all interconnecting through 5 neighbourhoods and leading to the docks. the whole thing is a mess.
I'd love a train simulator style game but with updated graphics and not shit
I love it when the AI is too dumb to sent the freight trains on the side track and instead clog up the passenger line.
i guess my fault for building this mess in the first place
>ex GF was autistic
>she would talk about Trains planes and automobiles for hours on end
>always loved listening to her just go on about tiny details
>mfw
These games would be god tier if you could just pick up a car or boat or plane and just cruise through the city you've built.
Love'em. It's one of the many reasons why I found Cities: Skylines so god-damn disappointing.
You want game with GOOD train systems?
Go play Factorio.
Or the game that inspired it's train-related gameplay: Open TTD.
But really, Factorio. Because you can connect them to god-damn logic networks and that takes shit to a whole new level.
there's a mod that lets you lock into cars or citizens firest person view
factorio is great
...
I guess you only cared about sex. Man, your selfsteem must be very low.
It sounds like user had found his own personal slice of happiness and the pic is related to his loss.
Or do you just have something against dating autistic chicks?
Shs left me for a railroad engineer
...
I approve of your spagetti
...
GET THE FUCK OUT OF THE WAY OF MY ROADS
do you like roads?
I enjoy roads
me too
>selfsteem
>not making it at least selfsteam
you had one chance
...
whops thats a big image
>no Reichsbreitspurbahn mod
Trash
Fuck. Pic reminded me of something else.
What are some RTS games with trains? All I can remember is some flash game that barely classifies as an RTS.
>tfw try to convince friends for ages and ages to play open TTD
>mfw they finally crack and we play till dawn and have a blast.
Want trains? A fuckton of trains?
Train logic? Train brain problems?
Play Factorio.
Going on a train tomorrow from Oslo to Bergen.
This is what happens when someone new to the game listens to all the dumb yurocucks prattle on about MUH CURVED ROADS and FUCK GRIDS.
>grids
burger burger burger
I met a cute awkward grill recently. I usually like aggressive grills because then I don't have to guess if she's into me or not. I can't tell if she's too awkward to outwardly express interest or if she's not into me. No term potential though since she has a kid. They always have kids. There's no such thing as an attractive, single grill over 25 without a kid.
>single mother
>cute
Pick one.
Having a fuck ton of baggage doesn't mean she can't be physically cute.
RAILED
There's nothing wrong about curved roads and avoiding grids. The problem with these screens is all the fucking empty space and giant interchanges in the middle of the fucking city.
My train yard
what the fuck
how
I literally thought it was a photo at first, then I looked at the mountains.
I did it. Even in a dark night of December was a very nice trip.
>burgen
is that in America? does the train go undewater?
tfw no railroad tycoon 2 on GOG
It's incredible what a couple of thousand assets and mods can do to the game
Yes I do.
BTW this one Czech guy has been working on a modern TT for like 8 years and it's finally getting some results. It's still missing a lot of content but I'm pretty happy with it after playing beta. It's called Mashinky and will be in Early Access soon. Not sure if it's a good idea to go EA but that's up to him. Also I swear I'm not a shill, I just like trains
I had a lot of fun in OpenTTD. Which game would you lads recommend
I like trains but I'm not good at efficient layouts
>Going on a train tomorrow from Oslo to Bergen.
Get off in Myrdal and take the trip to Flom if you haven't yet. It's generally to be the most beautiful piece of rail-road in Europe. And they are going to close it off for this year in a few days.
Train Sim World is actually pretty good after some fixes and updates and the passenger train expansion comes out next week. I'm loving it.
Holy shit how have I never heard of this thing?
You can fly the planes with a mod.
Holy fuck what is that bridge.
Dude. Gimme a tutorial on that. My buddys wont do it
It's pretty underground but check it out and follow the guy on FB or something, might be great when it's done.
Already bookmarked everything. It's curious to me, because I generally keep track of shit that is going on in my country in games industry. It looks damn good too: I like the combination of basic tile-based interface with the 3D visualization - my big issue with most modern building/logistics management games is that I eternally fight with the imprecision of the 3D environment and construction. The guy working on it does not seem to be an autist either, actually judging from the interviews he has his head screwed on pretty tight, which is unusual for people working alone on passion projects about trains for eight years.
EA seems to start next month, I'll see if I can scramble money to join in.
Oh you're from Czech? Me too, I got to a beta cause I write for Score. Dev is pretty cool and likes any feedback sent his way.
Ah, cool. Congrats. Yeah, I'll definitely check into it, thanks for bringing it up to my attention. Also... between this and Factorio - is there anything special about Czechs and games about trains?
I still can't get a visual similar to real life like yours.
Which LUTs and/or Themes do you use?
Or does it looks better because of workshop assets?
I use the Satellite LUT and my Theme is Cedar valley 4k
i used to love railroad tycoon 2 or something when i was younger
did they make new railroad construction games lately? I want to build railroads
