Been thinking of picking this up even though I haven't seen Accel World yet. Should I?

I don't follow anime anymore. SAO is like .hack kinda stuff, isn't it?

Also is this actually a good game or just franchise cash-in shovelware?

No idea about the game but the anime is pretty terrible, so I wouldn't have very high expectations for the game.

accel world was alright. I enjoyed it more than SAO at the very least. I'd say it's worth watching.

Not everything. Digimon games seem to stay put and that upcoming Seven Deadly Sins game has been outright said by Bamco themselves to be a PS4 exclusive. Do Sony have a financial stake in the latter two?

I do generally hear that Accel World is better than SAO, although aren't they both by the same author? Well I guess now is a good time to get into AW since this game is coming to Steam.

It's heavily implied since she says her father is a big shot and when reuniting with her handicap friend she's called "Sacchan", the name of the first girl Kirito made a connection with who died in SAO.

AW's setting and plot are more interesting but the main character is a fat manlet

SDS could be that they may be using people from the anime's team(writers and maybe even shots of the anime itself) and Sony own A-1 pictures. So that would lead to some financial stake, fucked if I know why Digimon isn't. Then again some of these games don't come to pass without investment so it could be sony paying to fund the game's being developed in the first place.

Hollow Realization and Fragment aren't terrible games. This and Lost Song aren't great though.

The Hollow games are hit or miss "full fledge" rgps.
This one is a sequel to Lost Song. Both are short action rpgs with few assets. They're budget games and it shows. They work but they're boring.

It's a shame because Realization wasn't a terrible game, it was just incredibly repetitive and devoid of content. Combat was actually fun and coordinating your party worked well.

Beg Bamco for the Hollow games, the ALfheim ones are trash and the Gun Gale one looks like it will be aswell.

I have the season pass, but haven't played much. I think each pack adds some new locations and continues the story.

The last pack is adding two characters that will appear in season 3 if you watch the anime.
