You may chose

You may chose.

Play one 10/10 game that is 100 hours long.

or

Play three 10/10 games that are each 30 hours long.

You dont have time for both.

Three games please

Three games

option 2

variety is the spice of life

Second option, of course.

Three, not even close. Variety is worth ten hours, particularly since my team isn't infinite.

What if the 3 games ware 9/10.

Id probably still pick them over the one 10/10

Why do I not have time for both? Am I dying OP? I'd rather spend my last 100 hours with my family/friends then.

>You dont have time for both.
but there are three?

>that one faggot in the thread

I'm a jobless NEET, I absolutely have time for both

where does the ten hours in second option go?

But what if you did not.

>Play three 10/10 games that are each 30 hours long.
This

Same. I take 3 x 100 hours.

False equivalence. Some people rate a game more highly if it's shorter/longer than others.

Personally, I like long-winded deep games as I'm to intelligent for anything else.

Funny how the same is true for children and autists.

...

honestly I don't even think of any games as a 10/10

Option 2

>Play a 7.5/10 metacritic rated game
>Play a game rated 9/10 by Sup Forums
Which one do you choose bros?

9/10 from Sup Forums

Last time I didn't listen to Sup Forums I grabbed Bioshock Infinite, last time I'll get burnt.

If it's truely a 10/10 it would have near infinite replayability. But option 2 for the variety

With very few exceptions, there aren't many games I've put more than 30 hours into, so definitely the second option.

If the 7.5 game is in a niche genre that I enjoy (e.g. dungeon crawlers), then it's probably pretty good.

>You dont have time for both.
you don't have the authority to tell me what i do and don't have the time for

3 10/10 games, they could be less than 30. Short sweet and to the point often works out better. I love Dragon Age Origins Awakening, Breath of the Wild, and Vanilla-Wrath WoW but for all the 10/10 moments there's a lot of not 10/10 moments. A game with a more reasonable length can keep it consistently 9-10/10 the entire way through.

Alternatively one or two 10/10 multiplayer games I'll get at least a thousand hours out of with my friends over the years. Kirby Air Ride, Smash Bros 64, Melee and 4, etc

Sup Forums has a terrible habit of writing off good games for asinine reasons and propping up games for equally asinine reasons. You'll end up stuck with a shitty game like Neptunia or Senran Kagura
Metacritic isn't going to be any better though, you're fucked either way.

Option 2. Most likely the first one should really be a 30-hour game too, but there's 70 hours of reused content and cheap gimmicks to extend the play time

They're often the same thing
Some niche game that's great but the majority of the western audience just don't really get

The 7.5/10 game.
nu-Sup Forums doesn't know shit about video games
