More games need a Rook-like character. Passive ranged tanks are the best.

I liked how you could buy 1 copy and play LAN with your friends

That game had good ideas but not the best execution.

...

>roommate literally just bought this last night

Sounds like it has a decent storyline but I'm not sure how I feel about the combat.

the story is shit, the writing is HORRIBLE. but the combat/graphics/ost (for the first 3 hours) are worth the purchase

these.
Was pretty fun though

my favorite part is that the game failed because the autistic moba community did not want to play anything that was not a 1:1 dota clone
like, how are they supposed to repeat the exact same strategy in every game if the game has multiple maps and none of them are exact copies of the dota map? better not play it

I loved this shit to bits.

The game failed because the official servers were a massive failure at launch. Playing through various VLAN networks was more stable.
While pirates were playing the game people that bought it couldn't.

I still play through tournament mode alone from time to time. Really fun - the maps look amazing! Though I remember the game heating up my old laptop until it shut itself off, when the game came out.

I'm waiting for this to come out of early access. I played the demo and it felt great to play.

Oh man, Demigod was great. Is Stardock even around anymore?

I have a few, will let you guess
>hard mode: no reverse image search

...

Not so fast OP I played this in a fucking lan party! Bet you can't beat that!

...

...

What game?

Demigod

Game seemed pretty good to a 15 year old me

...

...

Weird how Demigod never caught on, it was released in April 2009 while League of legends was released in October 2009

i think you might've won user

Yep, loved this at the time, the mix of board game with 3d fighting was really inovative by then

...

...

...

...

...

Lets give some of the roster infinite flight, no way that could backfire on the characters that can't!

Still a fun game.

what was this game's name?

I didn't even remember that lol

My brother has this one, saw him playing but never "got" it. He had this one to (pic related)

I played the shit outta that game with my friends

Also obligatory

Firewitch and that suicide biker?
Still had to land when they run out of energy.

...

Nearly all of the PS3's early library falls into the category.

...

just kidding, I know there's about 10 other anons who played this
three even liked it (including me)

Since we're in the age of HD remasters and re-releases... Sega pls? PS4 needs this game badly

I skipped a ton of those, early games are usually crap, and the meme ps3 has no games was fairly right in the beginning, at least speaking of good games

...

...

Blam! Machine head was the best game ever.

And this.

Fracture, I even enjoyed it. The gimmick was fun.

I've also played this game, bought it on a whim for Xbox. I really liked the jumping and shooting actions. I remember I couldn't get past escorting the statue and just gave up on the game.

>Weird how Demigod never caught on, it was released in April 2009 while League of legends was released in October 2009
Because it was a full price game also no marketing.

Shit never tought someone would recognize this one

I was like 9yo when I played it, I could never really figure out what I should do, specially since I didn't speak english back then

I got that game yo
it was a popular thing to gift that game with newspapers back in the day
they even gifted classic fallout games

I had a notebook with this on the cover. Also had one with Heavenly Sword, don't think they were officially licensed.

...

I messed around in the original

I remember playing a Cartoony, Mario-cart styled(Powerups and all the good stuff) Quad bike racing game, but I can not find it in any lists, be it "Cart games" or "Quadbike games".
It was probably made in Eastern Europe, I even want to say Russia. Year should have been 1999-2004.
Maybe someone knows

...

Launched in 2005 and it was doomed to be forgotten and it was quite ugly even for that period.

...

This game's pretty fun desu, didn't realize it would turn into a puzzle game during the dungeons though.
I need to play this again at some point.

It was maybe ugly, but it was impressive on displaying lots of enemies on screen.

...

i've told plenty people about this but have yet to meet anyone else who's played it

...

This game has the steepest difficulty curve on the fucking planet. Was it necessary to make a game almost impossible to play?

I mean it's no Last Remnant but still.

...

I've been glacing at this game occasionally for a while. Looks interesting, but not buying until out of early access. Do the devs have an ETA on this game?

Moonbase Commander
It's a turn-based strategy game where you catapult shit around, including buildings, and they all tie together with chains. Killing a parent structure kills all its children, but you have a lot of defense mechanisms (and ways around them) to stop your opponent from fucking you. Criminally underrated game, got it for like $2.50 at some dollar store as a teenager.
Here's a replay of a match, turns in replays aren't real-time so it goes quick: youtube.com/watch?v=BSpSXzeyEIE

...

One of the best platformers on the Nintendo 64, and barely anyone even knows it exists.

Okay, I'll bite. Which touhou fan game is this?

Couldn't finish the game because I was backtracking doing sidequests and the combat became too repetitive.

It was definitely fun for a while, if they released it on PC I'd probably give it another shot.

>redenant

I played this, was great. I love the little roller coaster building bit.

Love this game.

It's Double Focus. It's on the PSN.

I just watched the full replay I posted, and that was silly as fuck. Have a more interesting match: youtube.com/watch?v=z7dAJJSajgU

>why did they have to change the formula

The explosion of indie games today will makes these threads pointless in the future....

Is that Gauntlet: Dark Legacy? The original was kind of a quarter-muncher as it was, the 3D remake turned into a huge grindfest.

Yea it is.
Its a guilty pleasure kinda like the Mosou games, brainless fun.

Indeed, seeing the bug swarm charging in that fort mission is really cool,my main complaint about the game is the lack of weapon variety and lack of clear damange feedback on both the bugs and the player also the fact the "cutscenes" are just clips taken from the movie that it's trying to emulate which was relly silly.

...

...

...

Pretty solid game

...

Shit I remember this

One of my favorites

This was a pretty big thing back when ps3 released, was one of these titles that capitalized on sixaxis' use

I LOVE YOU
SO MUCH

I LOOKED FOR THIS GAME FOR YEARS
FOR FUCKING YEARS

AND NOW I FOUND IT
THANKS user

YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW THANKFUL I AM RIGHT NOW

>ARRR GIDERA!

Early 2018

...

...

Hell yes this, the soundtrack was top notch.

I am missing my disc for this; wasn't too terrible, as far as I can remember.

...

fucking memer and a fucking pretentious newfag, relax you faggot

hey user, good news.
i remember that a few months ago that there was a thread about that game coming to pc.

>mfw this actually happens
I'd buy it instantly. I'd even pre-order it, holy shit, please be true
