You ever played a non-porn game from start to finished without understanding the language it was in?

Up until I was 12 or 13, every single one of them.
Then I started learning English.
Every Mega Man Star Force, every DS Pokemon game, and every Tales game on the PSP and DS. There's a lot of others on the DS, PSP, 3DS, and Vita I did that with too.
Probably about ten or so
Usually things that didn't need a lot of text though
I played some tenchi muyo jrpg completely in Japanese on an emulator. I'm not sure how I actually beat it. Guess it was dumb fuck determination as a kid.
Do fighting games count? :^)
i played mgq3 in japanese and that game has nothing good for porn
English? Yes, I don't do it anymore.
the only text heavy game was Sengoku Gensokyo. i also played through Rockman and Forte as a kid on my SNES but the only important text in that game is in the shop.
Every single newly released Monster Hunter game starting with Tri, they're not very hard to get without knowing nip though
The Shin Chan games are great
>mfw the GBA and DS ones were released in my country
Pretty much every game until gba era when i started to download eur roms in spanish, now i can read english good enough
I desperately want to play the Gihren's Greed series so I started learning Japanese and learnt like all of Hiragana and Katakana and some good vocabulary, grammar, all that shit, learnt some Kanji too but turns out text in games is so ridiculously kanji-based that I still have a long way to go before I can play anything.
The SNES Fire Emblem games when I was a kid (except for Thracia because fuck that)
Almost finish it .
...
This game is the only Japanese game I ever played from start to finish and I loved it.
It also introduced me to the Lost Planet games.
Literally anyone who isn't American/English?
Sometimes it looks like you english speaking countries live literally in a bubble.
OLIVER
BENJI
shin chan wasnt really a cartoon for kids was it? they had like a shit ton of jokes that where inappropriate for kids
The japs treat their own like they're twice their age. Being 25 is like being 50 over there
It really isn't anything that special. He's obsessed with mature woman, shakes his dick around and talks about his own mother's panties, but that's as far as it goes. Kids just find it funny.
Doraemon didnt have any of that shit though.
Doraemon wasn't a comedy manga.
I played through and got all perfects in Rhythm Tengoku for GBA years before I actually learned moonrunes.
Last I checked, Doraemon had loli nudity
Rhythm Tengoku
The Legend of Stafy
Dragon Quest XI (used google translate)
now that i think about it, Doraemon did have a couple of upskirt or shower scenes here and there. The girl was underage too.
Japan really is fucked up
monhun XX
As a kid during 1999 there was hardly any game on Nintendo 64 that was translated into German other than First Party titles and not even all of them either
So I was 10 years old and I had no choice but to play English games and hope that one day I will understand them, but I guess that kinda helped me later, because other kids in my class always struggled with English
I used to put my shit in spanish because it was pretty close to portuguese, but started to get used to english after a while.
Bully English class was dumb hard though
One Piece Unlimited Cruise on Wii. Didn't understand a thing and had to have a walkthrough open up at all times, but it was still really fun.
Would play through it again since there's a Europe version. But I remember all the collecting parts can be very boring.
they're drawings user
i know, they still represent a child getting exposed in a sexual way though
Ironically, one of them was OP's game.
Fucking fun as fuck even though I couldn't understand shit. All I did was emulate Jap GBA games way back then. When Hamtaro was still a thing but Rainbow Rescue was nowhere but Japan, I also dared to play it since I was a fan of the series.
Of course, not knowing jack shit.
Mother 3. I got impatient waiting for the translation patch.
