In case fellow actors missed it, IPL posted a short FAQ about the whole publisher shenanigans
And it includes a few new arts and that's always welcome in my book

Aaaand I fucked up the thread alredy, posting a canvas instead of a screenshot. And the screenshot is too big to attatch. Have a link in the meantime.
Here we go. Apologies for my technological illiteracy
No problem steppe-bro.
Here's the link for Marble Nest as well: drive.google.com
Marble Nest has been removed from Steam now but is still available in EN/RUS versions at the IPL provided link.
Any actors around?
>Also useful for those of you who do not like Steam.
But, of course, there is nothing for those who dont like google
I'm still here, sayeth OP, that faggot.
I think I uploaded the pirated Marble Nest on MEGA for a friend back in the day. Should I dig for it? It's the very first release though, unpatched.
>Should I dig for it?
nah thanks I played it already on steam, just deleted it
new demo when?
I dont think there is a point to make pathologic thread untill its released
Next week, apparently. You might be right, but I just thought it's worth a try.
>Pathologic 2 will be released before Bannerlord
The steppe claim another..
While I do really love the marble nest demo, I think it's a bit too shallow of a demo in a way, it gives the wrong impression.
thanks OP
Bannerlord never ever ever
user please, my heart hurts whenever I think of it already. No need to put another knife in there.
One of the reasons I really love Pathologic is the slow descent to complete disarray and chaos. Marble nest feels like an out-of-place scene in the middle of nowhere. While it contextually sits in a specific stage of the crisis, it lacks the important buildup, it's not really connected to anything and thus feels weightless.
In a way I'd be happier if they didn't do it, even though I do enjoy it.
The first release has slightly different lighting so it has value in its own right. You can also get out and beyond the maps bounds to see a bit more of what has been made in the town.
I guess because technically it isn't a demo as such. It was put together to show off at trade shows as an indicator of tone and progress, not as a demonstration of fully functional mechanics.
But you can't show off tone like that, that's like watering down a soup!
Aaah! You just can't do it!
If I needed a fix of soup as hard as I crave new Pathologic, the local restaurants would probably become millionaires.
Honestly, I think it was worth it just so that I could see the Polyhedron again.
I feel it too, user! But you're letting that need blind you!
I'm the same. I was just eager to revisit the town.
how do i get the game to run if i don't have windows media player? i get an error obviously because it's trying to run the intro movies but it doesn't have wmp to run them.
i had the free upgrade version of Windows 10 but when i upgraded my motherboard it now keeps telling me to activate windows 10 even though i already have it. and now windows media player is gone.
Classic HD? You might just need to install the codec (Windows Media Video 8) - I tried removing the videos and seeing if it would still load but it won't.
cont. This might help: msdn.microsoft.com
i can't find a download for it
These are the absolute comfiest threads in all Sup Forums and if OP is the person who answered all the questions I had in the previous ones I'm gonna thank you for making this hell hole a little more bearable.
Just wish I had more to contribute as I have yet to play a substancial amount of the game.
I try to anwser as much as I can, though obviously it's not always me. And sometimes a thread misses me by, though luckily enough IPL threads tend to be slow-burning enough for me to go to sleep, wake up and still see the thread kicking.
Are you the user who was getting into Classic HD and asked about getting into it? How do you fare so far?
I've decided to just skip the HD classic and go for the next title because the stutter I was getting was really obnoxious.
Imagine your character stuttering at every step, that's how bad it was.
Will try out The Marble's Nest before Uni starts again though.
Well, that's weird.
Welcome to the waiting game, then. Aaaany month now.
One of the things that makes these threads nice is when new players tell stories of things they have encountered. It'd be compelling to be able to play the game again with a fresh memory, knowing nothing about it, so it's esspecially nice for me to read how new players are finding it.
Does the stutttering happen indoors or only outside in the town? There used to be problems with lighting and grass that caused stuttering witht the game's original release.
Well, IPL community is nice in general. Their games are cancer filters by nature.
I was playing the HD classic version. Happened outside and inside, with less intensity.
If it were just outside I'd suggest disabling grass as that did help with the original release.
Outside of it potentially being a processor core affinity issue I'm sorry but I'm out of ideas.
how do you disable grass? there is no such thing in options
some ini?
