What do you think about From Software’s in-house engine?

What do you think about From Software’s in-house engine?

it's ok

It makes things look pretty, but only from far away.

spbp

its just phyre engine 3. a lot of games use it.

It runs like my ass.

They have their own engine? I thought those games were running that Sony one.

It's pretty damn great.

Fix the fucking input buffer already.

It's great

It works. What else do you need?

The PC version of DS3 was optimised well.

It´s shit. DaS1 has a better engine, for fucks sake DaS1 has better textures on the pc than fucking dark souls 3

then you must have a pretty decent ass, user

Who cares about the engine? The art direction is what makes it special.

Middle right is actually my 2nd cousin.

Phyre engine is used for only demons souls.

wew lad

She's famous :^)

Bloodborne is amazing, shame it's going to be wasted on the PS4 for another 10 years before we get a ps4 emulator

>textures
>clearly doesn't know how engines work

oh user

Wasn't it havok?

havok is just physics

Havok is just a physics engine.

...

By then we would've already moved on to BloodIIborne my dude.

>textures, meshes, filtering, draw of distance are now handled by a little tiny man inside the console instead of the engine

>What do you think about From Software’s in-house engine?

It's dogshit.

Thankfully From have some top tier concept artists, art directors, modelers, animators and texture artists who manage to leverage it's mediocrity into something pretty special, oh and their level designers are something extraordinary.

Can they not make dead enemies just a little weightier?

There's a lot of pornstars in my family actually. I guess that's fairly common when you grow up in a poor family blessed with blonde hair and big tits though.
Especially when you live in a city that is basically under full jewish occupation (Raleigh)

>implying the fucking chadpion of ash is as weak as to not be able to wade knee deep through solid armor and flesh

Phyre Engine employee explicitly states otherwise.
