As a fan, I expect them to make an amazing game no matter what they do.
They've made games other than the Souls games and they're just as good. You may be thinking this way because the only games they've made since their company became prominent in the industry have been ones pertaining to that success. Now that they've gathered that good will and profit, its time for them to pursue personal interest like other kinds of games.
