Nioh

Fuck this faggot fucking game and fuck this mother fucking Way of the Wise faggot fucking bullshit. This is literally 'artificial difficulty'.
>Dude what if absolutely everything, EVERYTHING even a gnats fart, one shot you and had a quadrillion HP LMAO.
I am losing my patience and my soul to this.
Nioh general

Game was easier than DS3 for me. You just gotta keep moving during fights, but some things do require cheese.

He's talking about NG+3, which is just Team Ninja giving everything a hugely disproportionate stat boost.

>tfw bored of farming hyakki yagyo on wotw

Why would you even get to NG+3
Nigga move on to another video game

After I beat the game 6+ times 6 times going through way of the demon for 2 characters I'm too damn drained to touch it again forever.

Wait, they added another difficulty level on top of Way of the Demon? Holy shit. OP, no one would blame you for moving on. Way of the Demon was a cool addition; but ANOTHER one? A little overkill seems like.

Ignore the 2nd 6 times please you have to

Hold on to your butts

Dude I wish it was like DS in NG+ but it just gets retarded, then turns it up to 11. The fatigue is real. That said, the ever escalating loot keeps it addicting and interesting to a degree.

Yeah, each DLC adds a new cycle of NG+.

The last one hits in about 2 and a half weeks.

It bears the head of a COCK

Someone on the KT forums posted some concept art and a screenshot of Team Ninja's original aborted version of the game, which was developed from around 2010-11, and actually made it into alpha before Kou Shibusawa saw it and said "This is just recycled Ninja Gaiden. Start over".

...

...

TIS EVEN LARGER UP CLOSE

Oh shit, they've actually shown more of the final DLC? Have they mentioned what the new weapon is?
Looks pretty cool but even the screenshot alone makes it look almost exactly like Ninja Gaiden.
The armour is ok but I prefer the William-sama we got.

And so they made a mediocre souls-clone instead.

Well aren't we lucky.

...

Awesome.

Neat

...

NO! THEY HOLD THE ADVANTAGE!

Go away.

Did Nioh pass dark souls in terms of non-artificial difficulty yet? I definitely remember people bitching about it being too easy in comparison on launch

It is 10 times harder in Ng+3 than DS is in Ng+7 plus black phantom mod

No weapons yet, hopefully more info soon.

Way of the Demon/Wise probably beats any kind of post game in Souls games because it sounds like there's genuine additions, but the first playthrough is nowhere near what it should have been and Way of the Strong is barely different so far. The issue is in the changing of the mechanics themselves before release though, if they ever want to add a truly meaningful version of the game then they would have to bring it back to that state rather than just increase the loot limits, add a few more (but never enough) enemies and give them a bunch of buffs and dumb damage levels.

Original William-sama seemed to owe a lot to Mitsurugi.

Damn, oh well surely it won't be long till they show more if they're already revealing some of it.
In other news, I don't know if anyone else knows about this but just in case, I figured out a way to do the stance change attack going back to the same weapon even with two different weapons equipped. Hold R1 during your attack but before the Ki Pulse point, then when the attack ends, swap weapons as soon as you can, then immediately do the Ki Pulse and swap back to the initial weapon. It takes some timing but you essentially do a late Ki Pulse after manually swapping. Just a fun little trick.

Who is this supposed to be and why is he not in the game?

Maria and Kelley were the same character originally, maybe?

I don't really get Maria or Kelley vibes from him, maybe a very slight Spaniard look but he looks mainly just like a typical pirate or seafarer. This is probably fueled more by what I think would be cool, but he seems like he would be one of William's shipmates or comrades, maybe a radical take on Jan Joosten to match with William being more of a pirate.
