They added 3 more chapters to the main story, but also 11 mini chapters(3 maps each) as paralogues(sorta spin off stories) and extra modes in which you have to do maps in sequence and win them all.

We did get quite a good amount of content, and they also started doing a lot more events after the first months.

Half of those are events, and arena isn't new either.

Can a Flier Emblem team work without a flying mage? I'm planning on Minerva, Brave Axe+ Cherche, Firesweep+ Clair, and Wo Dao+ Palla. Maybe keep Ruby Sword+ but not sure.

Also, I pulled a -atk Hinoka on accident. I never planned on using her anyway. Which of the following four should hold the Hone Fliers skill? I'm kind of leaning towards Minerva.

Tome Fliers are great, but the true key to flier teams is abusing terrain, Reposition and Drag Back/Hit-and-Run. Minerva and Cherche are both really good and Palla is obligatory. Claire isn't that great, I'd upgrade to Cordelia or Tana if you have either or them, otherwise upgrade Valter. Unless she's your waifu I guess.

Just use an archer.

It could work but you'd have to take precautions to not get fucked by Armor Emblem or other high Def units. Keep the ruby sword on Palla and give her QR to make her your dedicated Hector counter. Clair is pretty bad and will need TA or a class change to Cordelia/Tana or even Valter to do proper damage. Also, don't forget to give everyone Reposition.

Just use an Archer, Dagger, or Dragon :^)

You're right about Cordelia/Tana being better.
You're also right about Clair being waifu which is my reason why.
I do have a Tana but I find myself using her in generalized teams. I already invested enough into Clair to give her Tana the Firesweep treatment

Which requires someone to have been in combat already, be it the mage itself (Fury or combat damage itself) or having them use Ardent Sacrifice or something similar on an already damaged unit.
It's really not that easy to get the first hit in on ANY ranged Cavalry unit unless you're running Cav memes yourself, since you're always outranged.

Yeah, last night I used two stam pots and went from 13k all the way to 2200ish, the top 1k felt so close but I know it's impossible to get and maintain unless I want to waste like 20 pots. Top 5k is obtainable without spending more pots than they give you so that's easy, i can deal without 2k more feathers.

You're right about it not being easy but I've been able to deal with her pretty consistently by repositioning Cordelia in and out after getting rid of Thundercock during the first enemy phase.

In the top 5k, which is all I want. 2k feathers isn't worth losing my sanity. I just make a team of units that need SP, HM or Support and let them auto battle 'til they die on the final map, then clean up with another team.

If you get back in now you get one of four 5* top tier units for free and probably hundreds and hundreds of orbs from content you missed.

I did the same, I only care about the coins because IS can't be bothered to tell us their purpose. I hope it's worth doing this shitty mode.

I only bother running AA once a week and getting a near perfect run. Even with the daily rewards I just don't care enough to bother with it. The fact they won't tell us what the primarily reward for playing it is for just makes it feel pointless to bother gathering them.

Anna, Sharena and Alfonse in that order. Olivia is probably a good choice as well if you haven't rolled Azura or Ninian.

Glad that we have more ways to get feathers but holy shit 20k to rank up units to 5* is such a grind.

There's a number of units well worth ranking up, though a priority should be Anna, Sharena and Alfonse since they're bonus/quest units for a lot of shit.

My Anna is the only main character not upgraded because I always find someone I need more. I'm upgrading +def -res Lukas next if I don't need her for the arena next week.

You'd have to show us your barracks first. In general though Xander and a +ATK rein are probably as close you get to locks.

For me, I need units worth upgrading. I've upgraded 13 so far and now I'm at 60k again with no one left worth investing in. On the bright side Burger King is soon so there's one.

I've been using a +ATK tinyhands since he came out and I've never needed lancebreaker, not for arena and not even for bloated TT units. I've used him so much he maxed out his SP at 9999 before the first Tempest Trial ended and has been my main carry ever since, uncapped he's probably pushing 50-55,000 SP and in those thousands and thousands of kills I've never thought a single time "man I wish I had lancebreaker".

Wings of Mercy is his best B slot, everything else is irrelevant to the point that keeping Vantage makes the most sense.

If you want guaranteed cards of those characters, you can get starter deck 2 or 6 (Awakening and TMS-themed, both have Lucina) or starter deck 5 which has Neph and Elincia.

For the most part, you'd have to gamble on booster packs. Sharena is only going to really be released in set 10. Fortunately, she caps as a rare, so if you bought a box, you'd basically be guaranteed to get her. But that's like $50, since it's 160 cards.

AmiAmi is good for decks and boxes. For single cards, you might want to check the serenes forest trading board.

Elincia's cards have B03 and B05 on them. Boosters for sets 3 and 5. You'd want the Path of Radiance/Fates boosters or the Radiant Dawn/Binding Blade boosters. The green starter deck also has some Elincia in it. And Nephenee as well, iirc.

The 4* rate swap helped but I'm still lacking good units to use feathers on. There are some fringe projects I could work on but the problem there is the lack of things like Fury and Vantage, really hope one day we get a skill shop.

If Nephenee is on the next banner and BK is a TT reward FE4 banner and Arvis GHB in October will pretty much be confirmed, but if that ends up being bullshit than it'll probably still be a long time coming.

The rate swap only gave me 3 star units really, it was totally disappointing.

I mean -def obviously isn't great but he still has good defense on enemy phase and now he can tank non-red mages a little better.

What do you have?
If you didn't miss GHBs you can make a cavmeme team with Xander/Camus/Ursula/Cecilia, you just need to inherit some skills that aren't eve that hard to get and all of those units are free.
Blade-tomes are really strong and Nino especially is a common green with great stats and can take you far with minimal investment. Tharja is also great but is not quite as rare. Odin is sadly complete irredeemable garbage and his Blarblade is best put on literally anybody else.

She's not that quick, maybe give her LaD or something.

When are we getting an announcement for the next banner

In my opinion +spd isn't that important for Cecilia because even with it she's slow, try giving her Fury. Either way Cecilia is good no matter what because she's the only mounted green mage, and she can run either Gronnbade or Gronnraven with success (although she obviously needs cav buffs to buff up her mediocre speed and defenses)

Considering 3 out of 4 are expiring within 3 days, should be soon.

Cecilia is slow, however, by giving her all the horse boosts, she can 1-hit ko a lot of things.
