Dude I almost have you beat. I ordered a GTX 1080 Ti, I wanted to go cheaper because spending that much on a 1080p card seems stupid. They told me it went up to 4K no problem over and over though so I did it. Well I built my computer and boot it up, max resolution is 1080p for everything. And I can't return the card because I opened it.

Usually when this topic arises, I admit to them that you have to be careful with the parts (not drop them or toss them across the room, not try to stretch them or compress them), but if you honestly think that putting literally 10 parts into slots which were designed to accommodate only the parts which are supposed to go in them and nothing else and tighten like 8 screws then fuck you, you shouldn't even be allowed to use a computer, you are lowering the collective IQ of humanity with your online presence.
