We made games! Come play we need feedback!

Sup Forums doesn't play video games

I'll play once I get back from work desu

>playing indie """"""""games""""""""""

This stuff is all garbage. I've played like 12 of them and it's all just a waste of time.
Don't bother downloading these, there are no gems or fun games, just a bunch of dudes making subpar crap.

...

>t gookcum

here is the full list of games

bully desu

is this game in there?

no

I'm not paying 10 bucks for dual stick shooter.

>Sup Forums is so used to """"alphas"""" being near finished, $20 games that they don't understand what an actual alpha/prototype is

Waste of time posting here, bud.

Thank you for playing our subpar crap. Please give more detail in your feedback so we know how we can make the games not crap.

No thanks, I'm playing real games.

No, you're shitposting.

So here is the thing.
If you are making an unoriginal idea, like a shmup or a castevania, don't bother posting it.
We already know these games, they are just done poorer and look different as indie games.
Unless they add something new enough to place them apart.
Boring.

I'm just starting a new project, so my demo isn't up there yet. Do you have a good idea I can win them all over at agdg?

yeah, I'll play some tomorrow, bookmarked the page

is there a way to leave comments on individual games? Didn't check far into the website but I'd like to leave feedback

you need an account to give feedback, methinks

Anything wins them over.
Post this screenshot calling them retards and jackoffs in a pong game and you'll get more (You)'s than you know what to do with.

I can totally answer that question without seeing your game!
no

benbo

Yeah you can check individual game's pages and they should have comments pages there.

Yeah I hear you, buddy. Most of these are just hobby projects done for fun and practice, very few agdg projects vie for a commercial release unless they are, as you say, polished and original.

cool, I look forward to some of the games (the shmups seem neat this year)

yes you can leave comments on all the games

almost everyone there desperately needs
a. Honest constructive feedback to help the development of their game
b. Validation and acknowledgement of their existence in order to keep themselves from giving up on life and becoming another millennial suicide statistic.
c. All of the above.

but do they have PUBG?

Why are all these games like 100+MB for a simple 2D shooter?
What engine are these made in that they have 100mb of code and assets?

Uncompressed audio combined with the backend of interpreted code. It's demo day, shits not gonna be optimised.

Originality is dead though.

So far I played the browser games if Psyblocks or cross square dev is here, please continue, they look like games that could become something good.

>$10 game demo submission
What the fuck?

Devil engine is pretty legit

fraud_car is weird but could become something real

Dream Fighter feels like is like someone heard what a fighting games was but still isn't sure

Wouldn't you want to give feedback then so that they can get better and make something more original?

fighting games are games where you punch and kick and stuff

why does she shoot herself?

She played DreamFight demo.

because back then yuri was illegal and she could fuck her girlfriend

*couldn't
