Considering the stories of Russians stabbing each other IRL over losing in game fleets.. this is not so shocking.
They are literally invulnerable for most of the week. The owner can pick and choose a few hours each week where they will be vulnerable.
If it's attacked it has two additional invulnerability timers (where you have to show up again and do enough damage in a short timeframe) before it can finally be destroyed.
These things are in fact way too safe and everyone is complaining about it.

It would be easy to get in a low tier spy who can't do more than report position and forward corporation/alliance mails.
It's significantly harder to rise in ranks because you'll have to participate in fleets and become known to the current leadership. You also have to suck their dick 24/7.
It takes a special breed of autist to get to actually infiltrate a corp, nevermind an alliance to the highest level

It cannot be in development for another decade, their out of money and have leveraged the game itself as collateral towards a bank debt after blowing nearly 200m on coke, designer offices, and 10k coffee makers.

I have one spy in a semi-leadership position with access to a few hangars and it took me 4 years.
Problem is the alliance is dying (at least that's my opinion) so all that effort has been pretty much wasted. I may just call it and grab what I can right now because it's unlikely to get any better.
