Consider the following. We know the Marvel roster is shit because it has to follow the MCU rule (with a little wiggle like Nova getting in because Nova corp was in the movie). But the roster that was chosen for the capcom side seems strange for who they cherrypicked from the UMVC3
If i had to guess, given the fact we were just given confirmation there will be NO DUAL AUDIO, that the entire roster was chosen solely to appeal to generic Western/American demographics.
Spencer, chris, frank, Haggar, Dante all American characters specifically taken from the roster with powers and abilities that don't require lore or context.
Jedah, firebrand, Nemesis and even Arthur? All villains that are perceived as normal things kids are brought up on (vampire, christian demons, zombies) and of course a charming knight to fight them.
All megaman characters look like toys, Monster hunter a knight, the only characters not particularly western are Ryu and Chun Li who are required by the MVC roster essentially.
But who did get cut? Ammy(Japanese god dog), Viewtiful Joe(Henshin Character), Mei Ling (Chinese Vampire), Akuma(various lines in Japanese and references to Japanese demonology/culture) Phoenix Wright(Law game with Kimono girl), Tron(Overly Anime looking girl who isn't a toy robot), Vergil(Iaidō sword user).
Who else is not in the game? Normal looking Americans whos powers require a lot of context (Wesker/C-viper/Trish).
So basically this shit got the 4KIDS entertainment treatment by disney on the capcom side.

All of Strider's stuff is tech based and there isn't any real need to know references or japanese culture to understand him other than "tech ninja" His name is even "strider" which sounds remotely western which makes it that much easier to accommodate, along with his "evil wizard" badguy for kids to comprehend.

You forgot to mention the buggy and cheaped out moves such as Captain America being able to glitch float. Or several characters having zero transition between crouching and standing
So basically they don't have transitions for momentum in the game. Cap's momentum is supposed to be slowed during the move, but nothing made him change momentum, so by blocking he skipped the end of the animation to signal his momentum downward to go back to normal. This is just laughably bad, not even Marvel 3 vanilla was this horribly coded.

Cap and Tony giving the orders on what the plan is. Their "solution" being Thanos, the only person who can talk to him is Gamora. Chunners and Chris looking confused as fuck when Rocket criticized breaking him out. Ultron being the one in almost full control of the final boss, and also being in the final game while Sigma gets shafted as DLC. Black Panther calling for help to save his kingdom from a Monster Hunter thing while Monster Hunter girl just shows up for like 2 seconds, probably doesn't even talk. The sudden "Civil War" moment of Cap and Tony's rivalry randomly breaking out and Capcom characters just side with whoever for no reason. MODOK taking over Umbrella Corp because fuck Wesker. The Capcom characters are literally being dragged around by the Disney script writers.

Marvel games were never hot shit in Japan, MSH v SF even included a Japanese comedian in their version just to make it a bit more appealing to them.
