So since I cant play the gog version on my PC.
It stutters like crazy despite being well above 60fps.

NO*

So instead of subtle creepy they're going for entry-level creepy? Sad.

Revengeance

How long would the first game take to beat? I understand you have to replay it with different characters?

Executioners aren't creepy, they're CUTE

One in-game day lasts 2 hours, each campaign is 12 days long. Disregarding sleep, it's around 15-18 hours per character

Don't be fooled by that image, they just pasted the executor and the text on this one, probably because Tinybuild asked for a a new image to go with the trailer.

...

>Executioners aren't creepy, they're CUTE
I agree.
>ywn dress up as an executor and go around town erecting plague-warning scarecrows
Why exist?

>ywn never be an executor/orderly from the marble nest

>hey guys, I heard that the doctor dude is dead.
>you sure about that ?
>yeah, whatever. Now let's get this party started !

>Icepicks ran out of money and gave themselves up to a publisher
About as excited as I am worried.

I want an executioner to hold me and whisper vague fourth wall breaking things into my ear while I rub his dick through his robes

>ywn have a fun time enjoying a bonfire made out of cattle with all your spooky executor friends
I still haven't played The Marble Nest, my computer is incapable of running it.

they didn't just run out, they went through twice the amount that they raised through kickstarter

Jesus, where did it all go?

Based Dybowski spent it all on absinthe, probably.

Hello, my dear steppebros.
As you've surely noticed, there's been quite a bit of confusion since they changed the name to pathologic 2.
>Is it a sequel ?
>Did they cancel the remake ?
>This looks good, but do I need to play the first one before ?
On top of that, people unfamiliar with Pathologic already get easily confused by the different versions : Pathologic, Pathologic Classic HD, Pathologic the Marble Nest, and now Pathologic 2...

For that reason, in the thread last week, I decided to make a new infographic, to give a detailed explanation about all these different versions, and tell new players why they should or shouldn't play classic HD before the remake.
Here it is, almost done now. Any thoughts or suggestions ?

Changes since last time : I wrote and added the text, so let me know about typos, errors, sentences that don't make sense, or parts you disagree with/would like to see rephrased.
Alternatively, if the eloquent ones among you (you know who you are) want to rewrite a paragraph, feel free to.

The only thing missing now is a last paragraph to answer questions like
>which one do I play ? Should I just wait for pathologic 2 ?

where the fcuk is demo

I am yes. I'd like a different title though if you're offering.

>which one do I play?
>all of them nigger.

IPL uploaded Marble Nest (not a demo but more a mood piece preview for trade shows) here: drive.google.com/drive/u/1/folders/0B-sS1jjw4dSJMXBiQnc5cGtOVU0

bretty gud
fucking Immortell

pax demo you dummy

That's a shame, but atleast it's not going anywhere.
Will you be able to play pathologic 2 though ?

SOON™

I like it. Well-explained, uses the steppe imagery well (love the glyphs, good taste), it looks striking enough to catch people's attention while still being clear. I'd say use more steppe language but best not to confuse the newcomers, I think.
I kind of what you to use only the original Haruspex's path description for the original game summary, but that's way too confusing.

I love it. Excellent work, Actor.

>PAX East
A-Actor...

It is, and not being able to participate in the discussions has been disheartening, but I've been saving all the threads for later and trying to savour the anticipation. Seeing the cute/spooky new Executors has been nice.
Thankfully yes, user. I've been spending almost all of my time away from home due to work, so I just haven't had time to upgrade my PC yet

What is this from?

When they decide to.

>1:28 "I just want there to be less black left"
>1:31 "Yes, that would be good."

Chimpout in 3...2...1-

I have to go to bed, but let me just say that whoever made this image is amazing.

I used to shit talk the game but I did finally play it due to people on here saying to give it a go and it was a damn good game.
Beat it as the Bachelor and now going through as the Haruspex.
I did try the Changling but her scenario is hard as shit and she has no combat options, loses health all the time from shit and constantly loses respect all the time.

I'm glad you've gotten into it. Depending on how familiar you become with the game though, Clara can be the strongest fighter in the game.

She only loses respect when she is not sleeping and you can fix that by healing infected people. The ones that lay on the ground moaning or ones that covered in rugs. She basically trades her health in exchange of respect.

Well I did beat it with the Bachelor and I did make some bad decisions and some ok ones but I was not ready for the 2nd day and had to scrimp like mad to survive since I avoided the advice that is in one of the images for the game.
On day 2 with Artemy and its really cool to see his side of the events since Dankovsky's 1st day is boring as hell but ramps up at the later end of the 1st day.
I've no idea how im going to endure day 3 and 4 when it really starts going bad.
Also I though Clara was immune to the sand pest but in her stats she just has a high immunity so I am guessing you need immunity boosters and that farming almost dead people is what she has to due to keep up her rep.

>but I was not ready for the 2nd day and had to scrimp like mad to survive since I avoided the advice that is in one of the images for the game.
That's good, user, this is how the game was meant to be played! Bit of a desperate scramble, huh? I can't stand people who spoil that in their advice to new players.

Was forced to do something that made me stop playing for just a moment.
Broke into a house as I had two lockpicks.
Tried to sneak and steal some food but I got some food and fucked it up as two men charged me.
Tried to run but ran into a dead end and had to shoot the both of them.
I then see two women cowering and running away before I quickly steal some more of their food and milk.
Then a young boy runs out of nowhere and starts punching the shit out of me, I tried getting around him but he knocked off 1/4 of my hp.
So I shot the kid and after that I stood there for a moment thinking about what I did.
I broke into this house, murdered the husband and the other guy and this families son while the two women watched.
Why the fuck did I do that?, because I was desperate for food. In the end 2 people and a fucking child are dead for 1 glass of milk, 2 crackers and some meat.
Call me a faggot if you want but ive never played a game where you actually get into the grey area of survival and utter desperation.

I remember when playing as Artemy I needed to speak to Daniil but he was being held hostage by one of the children's gangs. I could speak to him in return for something like 30 rifle round. I blew the kids brains over the back of the wall and that was an end to the discussion.

Well, that's Pathologic alright.

So just started playing this and died after following some hunched over fuck when he turned around and punched me to death in 3 hits.
Am i supposed to get a gun ASAP or am i doing something wrong

Yes.

How's the Void? I'm half-Russian so I can play it in Russian, from what I get there's an original version called Turgor and European one released later in English. Which one is better?

>she has no combat options

Am I not supposed to alakazam thugs to death?

If you want to explore those emotions more, This War of Mine puts you into those positions constantly as well. Read the steam reviews to see your story over and over again

Holy shit

Challenging, atmospheric and unevenly paced. Memorable though.

So who else wants to go on the piss with IPL?

Would bring the whisky.
Guess they live like most artists i know

Yes.

The original game was the only game I never fully finished or even really understood and yet still liked it.

...

>He assumes Executioners are guys
>Doesn't imagine them as really attractive THICK womanly/motherly figures.

There is only one THICC thing in steppe.
