My kind of thread

I just finished Rise of the Tomb Raider. It was 8/10 cozy.

saving a skyrim playthrough
FF7
FFX

something really comfy about having a nice hot coffee and grinding in final fantasy on a cold morning

Skyrim with some mods is comfy af
The winter setting is just cozy
With the frostfall mod, fireplaces get even mechanically useful and 100% more comfy

The Professor Layton games can also get pretty comfy at times
The colour palette and British setting is heartwarming

What about 9 my friend

Stardew VAlley and Animal Crossing are quintessential cozy

never played it nor have any interest

Just completed a play-through of Farcry 4 and I had a bunch of fun. Cozy mountains n sheit

I also think that A Night In The Woods is just comfy as hell, probably due to the palette and overall easygoing feel to it

Definitely feels like autumn now in the Chicago area. I just started playing Divinity Original Sin 2, not sure how comfy it is yet.

...

This game is only cozy if you don't mind dying 1000x times in some levels.

I think I got a thing for snowy mountains

I never died in it, but that's just me

It might be a guilty pleasure but I really enjoyed the setting as I've never played anything close. The gunplay is tight if a little easy

For all its faults, I feel that ACIII had the best setting.
Are there any games with the same setting (american wildlands in the winter)?
I also loved the last snow mission in RDR.

I also think that AC Syndicate gets the cozy London atmosphere just right.

Don't fucking lie to me.

I think I fell or something in the first 4 levels or so

Few games beat the sheer comfiness of Broken Sword 1
The colours and everything are just perfect

No reason for it to be a guilty pleasure! It's a great setting!

I'm so serious, how did you crash into anything that killed you? They were fairly easy to avoid

HP2 for the PS2 always brings me cozy memories of my childhood!

Oblivion could also reach some extreme levels of cozyness
The chromatic aberration just gives it a fantasy vibe

The woods in Firewatch are so magical!

old versions of miney crafta

i miss the times of fucking around in wow.

i agree, finished ff7 and gonna pick up 8 or 9 soon

Why not the newer ones as well?

Nigger

is this game any good? I have it in my library but haven't gotten around to it. i heard the ending was very disappointing

LOL SO RANDUMB XDDD

Before the Storm is bretty good desu.

Morrowind Bloodmoon
>exploring the island
>build your own settlement
>visiting a random old guy in his hat for candies

maximum comfy

am i the only one who hates texture packs? they break the magic of minecraft for me

>Quietly creating spells, enchantments or potions at the arcane university with this playing

It's a personal story and it's realistic.
If you think of it this way the ending is poignant.
I loved it. But there's not much "game" to it.
It's a walking simulator with a bit of gameplay.
Akin to a telltale game, but better, imho
It has some of the best dialogue I ever seen in a game and the voice acting is fantástic
Just give it a chance and refund it if you don't dig it

>autumn
>still hot as fuck outside
try again in a few weeks

alright, you convinced me to give it a shot.

>is this game any good?
Pretty trash, the writing tries to do some 2deep4u bullshit and then it bungles it's big "twist" in the end

Within a deep forest

Have you considered that there is different weather in different places around the world?

Haven't gotten around to before the storm yet I'll probably start it later tonight, but the first 4 episodes of LiS are genuinely comfy, they have the atmosphere of a so bad it's good indie movie, good to get comfy with in the evening

I play "scary" games in sep/oct, I play comfy games after until spring.

>70s and even fucking 80s in the next two weeks
naw a couple days here and there feel like it, but it's not here yet

>2:30 AM
>No work till 3 PM
>Stormy weather outside
>Wrapped op in blanket
>Smoking some weed
>Cup of chamomile tea
>Doing a new play through of New Vegas

I'm pretty comfy tonight Sup Forums.

Can you take a pic of your smoking apparatus?

why

I just smoke spliffs (I'm Dutch) not much to see.

Nothing because my allergies won't let me be comfy in autumn.

I'm on suffering mode until winter sets in, then I switch to max comfy.

So post the games you play during winter!

Banished and Castles and Kindoms are both top notch comfy!

I get constant nosebleeds during winter but it's still the most comfy time to me, I like the cold and how muted everything is when it snows or ices over

I'm the kinda guy that finds singleplayer RPG grinding comfy, so relaxing with Elona or replaying a Dragon Quest is what I'm planning to do.
That blows. I love the apperance AND temp of winter, I have issues with heat when it's above 70 F.

Assassins creed rouge is a prequel to 3 and shares the same setting. If you liked 3 and 4 definitely worth pirating. Maybe even worth buying if its on sale for 10 bucks or something.

Pic related is one of the most comfy games I've ever played.

I'm gonna civilly disagree with you. I thought the first game in the series is absolutely comfy while disliking the second one. You nigger faggot.

I can't fucking wait to play this for the first time on the switch. Laying in bed while the heat turns on and playing this shit will be awesome.

Western release date for sequel when?

Holy crap!
That game completely flew under my radar!
It even has a comfy winter setting!

Why would Ubisoft make an AC game to be forgotten immediately?

Will the second one have a job system? One of my favorite things about the series is when one of them has a job system so the lack of this and difficulty of building upward turned me off.

Cause it came out about the same time as unity and was on last gen consoles so unity got all the marketing.

No idea. But I do hope that they improve the gameplay for the second. I wanted to build upwards too. And have roofs and shit.

A Dogs Life for the PS2 was my jam when I was younger.
For some reason it really stuck with me!

The Cartoon Network games were always comfy!
The one at the summer resort was comfy as well!

Early Lego video games are also god tier comfy.
Even the online ones, such as Lego Backlot or the RC one!

The Lego Island games were so much fun.

Although good, the new Lego games are simply not the same.

Just started collecting physical copies of some of my favorite games as well as games I've never played before just so I could do some comfy fall gaming.

Ordered a custom GBA SP and Harvest Moon Friends of mineral town as well as Mother 3 translated cart (never played it before)

I also picked up Grandia, Suikoden, SaGa Frontier and Final Fantasy Tactics, all of which I've never played before.

Also got Animal Crossing GC.

This is gonna be a good Autumn/Winter

>tfw retargeting the rocket

>And you get them 12,5% closer to their intended target, feels gud.

Okami, Lots and lots of seasonal changes/visual effects that really bolster the comfiness.

The whole game is extremely easy on the eyes and ears.

astroneer is my go to comfy game

Damn you user, I actually forgot how great this OST is and you made so many memories and emotions come flooding back...DAMN YOUUUUUU

The HD release is making me consider getting the game. There's too much shit I want to play and no god damn time to do it.
