Haven't played any of the Adventure games until this summer when I found a copy of SA2 at a local thrift store. Other than the mecha stages, I liked all of it, Sonic/Shadow's gameplay, Knuckles/Rouge's gameplay, the chao garden, the music, the story was alright. I still prefer the classics over it but IMO, Sonic's 3D gameplay was at its peak here

Honestly hated SA1 so much I couldn't wait to be done with it as soon as I got to the Amy levels.

Found it weird that people got super nostalgic with this game as soon as I got done with it in February 2010.

SA2 speed stages are really fun imo. All the other sections from both games suck though.

Neither games are groundbreaking and they have low points and high points. It's a recent trend where hipsters/e-celebs try and say that games that were well-liked are somehow factually bad games so they can be different or controversial.
