I have to admit horn's buffs spoiled me. every time I bounce I miss them, and even just using another weapon sometimes I think 'I could be under this thing's head whacking it right now'
I also really like fighting brachydios with it

Fighting dios with HH sucks. Hammer is more my thing for him, but I always seem to never have a solid hammer upon his first hunt each game, so I always have to stop what I'm doing and make one.
That said, a HH with earplugs song is almost as good, given what a shitty scream memer he is.

Any tips for me to learn Lance? I uised basically every melee weapon at one point in MH, but I just have some sort of mental block for Lance/GL

don't use lance or gunlance. No one uses them because they suck and you get hit a lot. The only people who play them tryhards trying to prove something.

if all you're doing is playing adept you will never get good, aerial/adept/brave are all broken as shit

it's the most recent western entry but the new additions (hunting styles, hunter arts) are not returning in MHW and probably won't be in future games at all. that said it's still a good entry point and $10 is a really good price for it

As an axe lover myself, I've made peace with the axe options we've been given. I doubt we'll ever get a proper Axe weapon type, so hopefully we can at least get a decent "axe" as a GS or something.
