The remake is fine, just too close to the original game for its own good and with worse music. There are far worse things that came out/are coming out this year.

I don't get it, why does the Mecha-Blooper keep the bullet bill's older design but the other variants of the bullet bill use the modern design?

It's good if you get it for free, I love the minion mode, it's actually fairly challenging if you don't grind.

I think Destiny 2 and MEA are the closest things to being dumpster fires we have out so far this year.
Then again COD WW2 hasn't come out yet and I don't recall there being any black women being sent to Europe. Let alone working with white squads.

True, my mistake but even then the majority of designs for Torpedo Teds are still very similar to Bullet Bills with how they're black & have hands. I'm still confused & surprised they had them look like their original GBA counterpart.

A decent excuse for at least a number of things is probably cost/time-saving. I imagine AlphaDream likely wanted to keep using whatever sprites they already had on hand, because making new sprites at the same level of detail as DT/PJ for up to sixteen directions isn't cheap or easy.

No, but it does show how lazy they're getting with the RPGs. It's so close to the original that it's clear they just shat it out for nostalgia money.

can't be a dumpster fire when it is actually a good remake. I literally just finished the base game while still working on minions. It is just a few offensive changes like TOADING Little Fungi, turning Cackela Soul into a 3D model, and turning almost every Koopa except for Boomerang, Bones, Border Jump, and Chain Bros into generics.
I can understand removing Geno because he is property of Square Enix now; who suck so much fucking dick and are only half-a-step away from being Konami 2.0. What I can't justify is everything else

the remake isn't even bad. gameplay wise it's better due to the updated mechanics and QoL features. you're no longer to listen to mandatory tutorials or anything like that.

Most likely the settings. Try getting a good emulator and set the save tipe to flash 128k. Haven't played it for eons so my memory doesn't remember exactly the specifications I had for it.

Bowser's Minions looks like the kind of game it would do well as a F2P mobile game for some reason.
