ignore all the side stuff and the anime, it basically amounts to shitty fanfiction although Side: Despair had some good bits.

Note that 3 is actually called V3, because the anime is 3. Also, don't watch the anime. V3 isn't out in english for a few more days though.

The DR1 anime is one of the worst anime adaptions in history.
In-fact, I'd say it is the worst.
You can't condense a 20-30 hour text heavy game into 12 22 minute episodes.

Pheonix wright with shooting gallery cross-examinations. Case 1-1 is really easy due to a clue that was harder in japanese but left untouched, but knowing that you can just play it and guess if you'd like the rest of the game.
